Kai was very accomodating althrough out the trip. Enough time is given to explore the King and Queen temple. As well as, Wachirathan Waterfall. If you are a fan of nature trip, this is one of the itinerary that you must book.
very good tour and great communication skill in English. We were 11 people in the mini van and from transport to tour guide, guided tour, trekking, lunch, all were great. All access tickets were included so we had no worries to pay anything at any place for entrance. Loved it and will recommend to visit using this tour guide. Covered all places they mentioned in itinerary.
Our tour guide was very helpful all the time. I even learned some local plants from him. The village is a must-visit place as it’s in the middle of rice fields and amazing waterfalls. Especially the coffee and herbal teas that locals offered us were great.
We trekked at Kew Mae Pan nature trail instead. It's a pity that it rained the night before, hence the observation deck was kind of foggy. But it managed to clear up a bit. It can get quite cold, so do bring along a jacket.
This was quite a good tour! I was slightly concerned because I didn't hear anything from the tour company after booking on Klook. On the day itself, the van arrived at around 7.35am but I understand that this was because this was a group tour and it is stated that pickup could be early or late. The tour guide was friendly, polite and conscientious, doubling up as the driver as well. He always offered to help us take photographs. The sights were great too - tip: wear a poncho for the first waterfall as the water really sprays everywhere, and opt for the trekking option (about 2h to 2.5h), otherwise you might have to wait at the coffee shop at the end for the rest of your group to complete trekking. Would recommend! downside: van was a little old and there were no usb charging ports.
Great experience! The tour agency contacted me about pick-up details, immediately after booking via Klook. The tour guide, Zuzy was also very informative and hilarious. Hot Tip: Esp in the rainy season and winter months, the temperature of the mountain can go down to -4 to 15 degrees. So bring a sweater & raincoat!
The tour guide and the driver are very friendly. They will stop at a rest stop before arriving at the national park. The tour guide will also remind everyone to buy something small to avoid getting hungry during the hike. Our itinerary is waterfall-walking trail-drinking coffee-eating-Twin Towers -The market, and then return, because of the rain, some sections of the trail are very muddy and slippery. It will be very helpful to take a trekking pole at the entrance of the trail. The lunch is a simple dish. The taste is good. It’s because the weather is bad that you can hardly see anything in the twin towers. At the same time, because of the high latitude, you should keep warm to avoid catching a cold. You can also choose to go back to your accommodation or other places on the return trip, which is very considerate.
This package tour is good and affordable especially if you travel alone you can save a lot because the tourist spot in Chiang Mai is a bit distant from place to place. Our tour guide is very hospitable and kind. It's like we rented the van in private because just only the three of us in 1 van. We travel comfortably. The free lunch is good in the local village.
First we went to the largest waterfall in Thailand, which was very wet. Then we hiked for two hours, mostly downhill, which was easy. The attractions were a few waterfalls and rice terraces. At the end, we were picked up at a cafe and had lunch in the local guide's Karen village. In the afternoon, we went to Doi Inthanon (the highest point in Thailand) to take a photo with the sign, and then to the Twin Pagodas. Unfortunately, the weather was bad for the Twin Pagodas, with wind and rain. We took a quick look and hid in the visitor center to wait for the return trip. Finally, we passed a community market where we could buy fruits and local products.
The Chinese tour guide is Thai, but his Chinese is really not fluent. Due to the changeable climate in the mountains, some parts of the trail are slippery and there are many mosquitoes. It is recommended that you wear sports shoes with good grip and spray enough mosquito repellent before hiking safely. The air in the mountains is very good, and you can also see the rice terraces cultivated by the Miao people themselves. The Chinese meal consisted of 3 dishes and 1 soup, which was not satisfactory. I took me to a small market that sells fruits, vegetables and other food. However, nuts are obviously much more expensive than those in Waroro Market, and they are not as cheap as the previous online introduction said.
