  • What if I have a problem with Internet access?
  • For iPhone users, set your APN (Access Point Name) to “e-ideas” in your phone’s internet settings. For Android users, set your APN (Access Point Name) to “hicard” in your phone’s internet settings.
  • How do I use data overseas?
  • DataRoam, which is bundled with your hi!Tourist SIM, is activated immediately upon registration of SIM card and is valid for use before expiration date. If you need more data overseas, you can go to hi!App to purchase hi!DataRoam Plans.
  • When ready to use at destination country, enable Mobile Data & Data Roaming on your device.
  • What is an EZ-Link card and where can it be used?
  • The EZ-Link card is a contactless stored value card used mainly for public transport services in Singapore. It is accepted on public buses and rail systems. It is also accepted as a mode of payment at more than 30,000 merchant acceptance points island-wide.
  • Where do I top up my EZ-Link card?
  • You can top up EZ-Link cards at all General Ticketing Machines at bus interchanges and train stations, TransitLink Ticket Offices, 7-Eleven and many other selected top-up points in Singapore.
  • What is the validity of an EZ-Link card?
  • Each EZ-Link card has a validity of 5 years from the date of encoding.
  • What if I lose my EZ-Link card? Is it refundable?
  • The hi!Tourist EZ-Link SIM Card once sold, are non-refundable or exchangeable for cash or any product. There will be no refund for all EZ-Link card costs and any unused value upon card loss, damage or expiry. You are responsible for the safe-keeping and usage of your hi!Tourist EZ-Link SIM card.

  • SIM card registration is compulsory and activation of SIM card will be done upon collection, otherwise your SIM card will be invalid
  • Effective from 1 April 2014, each customer can only register up to 3 Prepaid SIM cards
  • The person registering the SIM card at the collection point needs to be at least 15 years old
  • Note: From 15 July 2024 under IMDA’s regulations, SIM registration with passport will be subjected to thirty (30) days validity. To retain your SIM for more than 30 days, re-registration is required at any Singtel Shop, Singtel Exclusive Retailer or Singtel mRemit Lucky Plaza #01-11 with a valid Singapore-issued Identity Card / Work pass within thirty (30) days of your SIM registration. After thirty (30) days, your passport registered Prepaid Card will be suspended without prior notice or liability to you, and there shall be no refund in relation to any such suspended Prepaid Card.
