What to expect
There is substantial recyclable waste created from our daily activities from work to school. Studio An has created an initiative to start recycling what we can to help give back to the environment by recycling craft materials and making usable paper – going full circle.
In this 2 hour guided workshop you will experience:
- Learn how to break down used papers and natural materials
- Incorporate natural materials and dyes into your papers to create unique textures and patterns
- Make as many recycled papers as you want and have it dryed and pressed then delivered to you the following week
Studio An will provide broken down cardboard, art papers, dyes and natural yarns to blend into your handmade paper. Below are some things you can bring along to spice things up!
- Used paper, newspaper, or any natural based compostable material
- Dried flowers, leaves, glitter
- Do not bring fabrics or un-recyclable materials as the materials will need to be broken down
- Note: This is a sustainability program so provided materials are subject to availability

Reviews
Interesting experience for my kids. they learned how to make recycled paper and were really enthusiastic with the making. dried flowers go really well with the recycled paper, so it's something you can bring to add to yr recycled paper. the Studio provided yarn which they added to their paper too
High recommended. A great hands-on learning experience for young children above 5-6years old. Parking at the basement, and the building is in an industrial area, so it’s very quiet and desolate on a Sunday.
Lovely studio, and great teachers with passion for their crafts. My boys and I had a great time, and learned a new skill. The papers we made were then couriered to us at our address about 2-3 weeks later. Only that the tuffing workshop is also right next to us, so the noise level was a higher than expected.
