Sightseeing Carpool Between Taipei and Hualien (via Jiufen)

The driver was kind and helpful, he directed us where to get the best souvenir and the best photo spot. And he was on time to pick us up and drop off. I would recommend this tour.

Great way to see the country side. It was very scenic and the drive was easy. Really enjoyed the relaxed feel of this trip/tour. Our driver from Yilan to Hualien couldn’t speak English but he tried his very best to communicate which I totally appreciated.

Nice view!!! Driver explained detail and history of Taiwan. Went to jiufen, ji mi place, Qing shui then arrive hotel safely around 4++.

Great tour, does what it says. Punctual departure from Taipei Station, would be better with a sign/some sort of indication of the meeting point. Recommend if you just want a convenient and somewhat fun way of getting from Taipei to Hualien.

Speedy transaction. Easy boarding with the voucher. The view was great and impressive. The driver was knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend to get this deal!

Friendly driver guide and nice stopovers although would have been nice if we can see the 七星潭 enroute instead of the snack souvenir shop at Yilan. Passing through Yilan’s Jimmy Park was very interesting. The stop at 清水断崖 isn’t the best viewpoint of the cliff, there is another stop that have a better view of the cliff - a little underwhelming though the cloudy weather may have played a part. Overall good value for money if travelling as a couple but will be better to get a private hire car if traveling in 4s or more.

Our tour pushed through even though we were only 2 passengers, so we got to enjoy the van to ourselves. It pays to be early to avoid the crowd of tourists. Mr. Lu has excellent driving skills and drove us safely to our Hualien hotel by 4PM. This was much earlier than expected so we were able to explore Hualien beach side during this free time. Thanks Klook and Mr. Lu!

Our driver is amazing! He is friendly and always there to help and answer question if needed! The trip was relaxing as he is a great driver and making sure everyone feels comfortable with the road circling around the mountain. If you are looking for a road trip and love the little stops along the way, this is the one for you!

Gathered at the meeting point for transfer to Taipei. Qingshui cliff was breathtaking. Please avoid going to Taipei from Hualien on Sunday. Traffic is very bad. Our driver said due to most people going back that way for work on Monday. Stucked in jam for 2 hours. Reached Jiufen it’s already dark, nothing much to see. Our driver was good enough to drop us at our hotel.

The guide is extremely friendly and the places he brought us to, are extremely fun and worth the cost! I would book this tour again if I am going to travel along this route.
