Ka Atelier - Chinese Teapot Painting Workshop | Wan Chai

Highlights

• Learn to decorate and paint with popular Chinese art motifs such as Bamboos, Plum blossoms, Chrysanthemums, Orchids or Lotuses using a combination of Western and Chinese brushes, inspired by Chinese Brush Ink painting techniques with ceramic paints, fusing East with the West.
• Learn the basics of decorating onto a Chinese teapot and enjoy a chilled morning or afternoon in a cozy artist studio known for its unique creative classes that truly blend the East and the West and has been featured in Lonely Planet, Time Out and Secret Escapes U.K. and Tatler HK.
• The workshop is designed for beginners, guided by the studio's very own artist, Carole Leung with the aim to introduce Chinese art and culture with a modern, vibrant, fun Western approach, promoting cultural understanding, fusing East with the West.
• Choose to paint 1 teapot each OR a set of 1 teapot and 2 teacups (to share if come you come in a pair)
• Please note that the workshop is focused on introducing the five Chinese art motifs Bamboos, Plum blossoms, Chrysanthemums, Orchids or Lotuses only. Please pick one theme to focus on for the workshop.
• At the end of the class, bring home your teapot and use it as a piece of home decoration, or gift it to a friend! (Please note: your painted teapot should be used for decorative purposes or occasional use only)
• To help with your inspiration, enjoy a freshly-brewed Chinese tea.
