Our guide, Emma, gave us a wonderful tour through the streets of Hoi An. As a local, she gave us the history of some of the food and culture of this city, sharing stories whilst we enjoyed so many different experiences. We enjoyed our day in Hoi An but this tour taught us so much more and treated us to experiences we would have missed out on. I loved it all!! Highly recommend!!
Quinn, our guide was very punctual. She was warm and welcoming. She not only showed us around, but also told the history of the places, traditions. She became more like a friend to us as we talked so much about Danang and life of people here.
I arrived at the designated meeting place "Hoi An Food Tour" 10 minutes before, but the staff or guide did not show up. I searched around for other addresses (places of implementation), but there is no applicable place. About 45 minutes after the meeting time, the guide called me and came to the entrance of OLD TOWN. The meeting place had changed and Our guide repeatedly apologized for not being notified. As a result, the tour started about 50 minutes late. The contents included banh mi, dinner, and drinks, and I enjoyed a lot in 3 hours, such as floating lanterns on the boat, playing old bingo games, and getting a massage. The guide, Emma, is very kind and friendly, and I am very satisfied with the easy-to-understand explanations. If the meeting place hadn't changed, We were able to stroll around a bit more slowly, but as long as it ends well, it's all good. I'm glad I participated.
it was a great tour, very comprehensive to experience food, culture and night view. our tour guide, Jackie was fantastic. recommend not to have a big lunch, you have lots of Hoi An food to explore.
I thought pick-up and drop-off were the same, but I couldn't cancel because I paid by mistake, but the weather was nice and the guide moved me on a road that wasn't crowded, but it's a little sad that I didn't have time to shop or look around leisurely! All the local food was delicious and good. I think the cost is a little expensive, I think it will be fine if I use it alone... ?
We walked around to see the flowers and ate at a high-rise restaurant for dinner. There was no cultural introduction. We were just leading the way. The tour guide was young and didn’t have much experience. The only highlight was taking us on a river cruise. In fact, we could go there on our own.
We enjoyed this tour very much. Our guide, Jacky and christine, are university students who can speak good english and host this tour in a professional manner. We were unlucky to encounter heavy rain during the tour. The bingo game was deleted as a result. However, we had a long chat with two of them in coffee shop and restaurants which let us know more about the local culture. The coffee shop we went to is Hoi An Roastery, which is very popular. Overall speaking, the food in this tour is very tasty. We loved the vietnamese baguette so much. It was named the queen in Hoi An and we cannot agree more! Then, we had a meal in a local family home which was quite different from what you eat in local restaurant. The family host was a lovely and friendly lady. After that, we took a boat on the river and tried to release our lanterns onto the river. This was a romantic activity. However, we think that the 15 min foot massage was a great pitfall in this tour since it was a really low quality one. The towel that they use to wipe our foot looked grey and dirty. The environment is not enjoyable at all. At last, we went to eat barbecue pork. It was mediocre for us. It still worth a try if you don’t mind eating street food with low hygiene standard. Suggestion to the tour: 1) provide rain coat to participants and guide on heavy rain day 2) change another massage shop
