Thai Bus Food Tour Experience in Bangkok

A great Bangkok experience! Highly recommended! Tour Guide: At first, I thought the guide only spoke English and Thai, but it turns out she knows a little Chinese! Very impressive! Food: I experienced the lunch tour this time. Since I can't eat very spicy food, I noted that I couldn't eat spicy dishes from the beginning. The team thoughtfully replaced one of the main courses, green curry, with a non-spicy stew for me. Other dishes, like the first main course, the soup noodles, were delicious. The broth was incredibly flavorful and had both vegetables and meat; I truly drank every last drop. The Pad Thai was also very well-coated with sauce, and the shrimp were fresh and tasty! The mango sticky rice at the end is also a must-try; the mango was incredibly sweet! Drinks: There are no alcoholic beverages on the bus. They provide complimentary water throughout the trip, as well as a welcome drink at the beginning. At first, I thought it was some kind of medicinal drink, but it was a very refreshing lime juice. Finally, there's a hot coffee or hot tea. I chose the hot tea because they mentioned it had a caramel aroma, and it really did have a hint of caramel flavor, which was very unique. I even wanted another cup! As for other drinks, like Coke, you have to pay extra, starting from around 50 Thai Baht. Itinerary: Basically, you'll visit nearby tourist attractions such as the Grand Palace, Chinatown, etc. Since the guide provides commentary while you're eating, you'll need to listen to them during meals. However, they also provide about 10 minutes of break time (after the second main course) to allow you to digest and finish your meal at your own pace. Value for Money: Overall, I think it's very worthwhile. Mainly, if you're unsure where to go sightseeing, this tour bus allows you to eat and learn about Bangkok's attractions at the same time, which is a very comfortable experience. I hope to try the dinner tour sometime; I heard that dinner offers a view of Bangkok transitioning from day to night, which should also be great.

Very unique experience and it’s a visual feast too, admiring the intricately made pastries which tasted fabulous. Tour guide was experienced to know the preferences of the passengers and were engaging throughout the ride. Serving staff were patient too, providing impeccable service to me and my family. Strong recommend to anyone who wants to catch a bird’s eye view and have an overall basic understanding of Bangkok/ Thailand. While taking in the cultural sights, you can savour the pretty snacks displayed in a 3-tier stand!

Such a unique way to see Bangkok! The Thai Bus Food Tour was definitely a great highlight. There's nothing like cruising through the city streets while being served top-tier, Michelin-rated dishes. Great food, great views, and an all-around amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend!

The departure was very punctual, and the tour guide's English was excellent. They provided detailed explanations about what we would eat next and what sights we were passing. They even slowed down when we approached attractions. Several of the restaurants served Michelin-recommended dishes, and it was really cool to just stop right in front of the restaurant to pick up our food. The men in our group were quite full, and my female friend even had leftovers to take home. Enjoying delicious food, beautiful scenery, and learning about history is a godsend for those who want to relax. I highly recommend choosing the nightlife tour; the Grand Palace and Chinatown areas are stunning. The noodle soup, Pad Thai, and toast with custard were amazing. I suggest dedicating one evening to this tour when you visit Bangkok; it's definitely worth it.

upon reaching, check-in with the counter. after which the guide would suggest to use the ladies/gents before starting the tour. guide had nicely alternate between English and mandarin explaining the sites and the dishes we are served; which is a nice touch. food portions is great and well balanced. had the best pad thai ever on this tour, living up to it's multiple Michelin award. highly recommended!

This was a very unique experience for me and my mom. The food was great, the tour guide was okay, and the service impeccable! I will definitely recommend this to someone who wants to visit Bangkok and wants to avoid the heat with good food. food: 1000000/100!! itinerary: 100% value for money:100% worth it!

13/11/2025 Take a well-prepared afternoon tea on the double-decker bus. Enjoy the street scene while eating, Bus run all the way in the city of Bangkok, and will pass many landmarks and scenic spots along the way. It's really an interesting experience.

On our third trip to Bangkok, we decided to experience the city in a new way. The moment we booked the "Thai Bus Food Tour" on KLOOK, it felt like catching a star hidden in the twilight – this Michelin-recognized sightseeing bus would blur the lines of our sunset dinner, starting a flowing culinary journey in the golden light of 5:30 PM. A couple proactively told us where to find the check-in counter when we were waiting for the boat. People who love to travel are always more willing to help others. The sightseeing bus was waiting quietly, its golden sign shining brightly even on a cloudy day. Stepping into the car, the red velvet seats felt like a warm embrace. The panoramic windows framed the Bangkok street scenes like a scroll painting. Even the orchids on the coasters and the tableware were arranged like poetry, blooming with the unique beauty of Southeast Asia, making the street scenes a delicious seasoning. This is probably what travel should be like: surrendering yourself to the scenery, letting your taste buds and eyes indulge in the romance of this city. As the appetizers arrived, tamarind peanut sauce wrapped in crispy rice crackers jumped into a bamboo basket, the tangy aroma mixed with a granular texture, like a tropical breeze from the streets of Bangkok. Gently biting open the lotus leaf wraps, the coolness of the herbs blended with the freshness of the ingredients, a surprise hidden deep in the city's night market. The Michelin-recognized soup arrived steaming hot, like the rain in Bangkok, always with a gentle undercurrent beneath the enthusiasm. The Massaman curry chicken rice was served as the main course, the heart-shaped rice soaked in thick sauce, the chicken stewed until tender, spices and coconut milk entwined. We smiled as we picked up this "Southeast Asian Love." What surprised me the most was the Pad Thai – the bus suddenly docked, and the waiter quickly dashed into the restaurant to get the food and bring it onto the bus. As the bus started moving, the plate was still steaming with wok hei, and it was already on our table. The shrimp were firm, the bean sprouts crisp, the lime juice seeped into the noodles, and the sour, spicy, and fresh flavors exploded in our mouths. The Michelin-recognized cuisine was delivered to our taste buds at just the right moment. For the ending, the mango sticky rice, coconut milk slowly poured over the chewy sticky rice, the fresh mangoes as sweet as honey, the slightly sour peel just right to cut through the richness. We sipped hot tea while gazing at the flowing scenery outside the window: the Hua Lamphong Railway Station's tracks hid the old days, the Golden Mount temple spire was tinged with the light of the clouds, the red lanterns of Chinatown strung together like a galaxy, the Grand Palace solemn, Wat Arun golden, Wat Pho's bells seemingly there and not there... More than 20 attractions slipped past the window. We didn't have to get off the bus in a hurry, just sit here and let the Michelin-recognized delicacies and the Bangkok twilight wander together on our tongues and in our eyes. If you want to get off near the subway exit on the return trip, you can also make a request to the service staff in advance. The service staff reminded us to get off the bus and told us in Chinese: "Be careful getting off, take your time." I praised her for speaking such standard Chinese, and she humbly smiled and said: "A little bit, it's okay." The car door opened, and the evening breeze brought the aroma of the streets. Looking back at the bus moving further and further away, the most wonderful thing about this journey was that in the moving time, we both grasped the pulse of the city and had a gentle, unhurried experience. The Klook Thai Bus Food Tour experience in Bangkok was overall very enjoyable. The booking and check-in process was hassle-free and smooth, making it easy to join the tour without any confusion. The food served throughout the tour was good, with a nice variety of local Thai dishes that gave a great introduction to Bangkok’s flavors. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made the experience more comfortable and well-organized. The only downside was the timing coinciding with a procession, which led to heavier traffic and some delays. Despite that, it was still a memorable and worthwhile experience overall.

This my 2nd time go for this bus food trip. I love the ambiance. Their service excellent, staff very nice and polite. Very professional. Only if I can suggest should consider find alternative to change and rotate to other dishes like green curry, Tom yam, wanton egg noodle with roast pork and char siew and other delicious Thai food. And not all the time same.
