  • 【Important Notes】

(1) Two-Step Appointment System

  • Some U.S. visa application locations (such as India, the Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia) have a separate process for biometric data collection and the interview.
  • Online Appointment Process: When using the official appointment system, applicants are typically required to first select a Consular interview date at a U.S. embassy or consulate before choosing a biometric data collection date at a Visa Application Center (VAC, ASC, CASV, etc.).
  • In-Person Process: When visiting in person, applicants must first go to a Visa Application Center to have their fingerprints and digital photo taken before proceeding to the U.S. embassy or consulate at their scheduled time for the interview.
  • Time Interval Requirements: The required time interval between biometric data collection and the interview date varies by application location. Some regions require that biometric data be collected at least 1–2 business days before the interview, while others allow it to be completed on the same day (collection in the morning, interview in the afternoon) or at other times prior to the interview date that comply with regulations. The maximum time interval between the two appointments generally cannot exceed 30 days. Specific requirements are subject to the real-time rules of the official appointment system at the application location.

(2) Appointment and Visa Fee Information

  • Appointment and Modification Services: After successfully scheduling an appointment, if you need to change the appointment time or modify the DS-160 form, our company will charge a corresponding service fee, subject to our fee schedule.
  • Visa Fee Refunds and Appointment Changes: U.S. visa application fees are generally non-refundable once paid. The number of times an appointment can be modified, the validity of the receipt after cancellation, and whether a new payment is required are subject to the regulations of the official appointment system at the application location.
  • Validity Period of the Visa Fee: The visa fee receipt is generally valid for 365 days from the date of issuance, and applicants must schedule their interview within this validity period. Specific validity periods and appointment requirements are subject to the regulations of the official appointment system at the application location; please schedule your appointment in a timely manner to avoid delays in your application due to expiration.

(3) Additional Visa Center Fees

  • Applies to locations where separate appointments are required for biometric collection and the interview. This product does not include any additional fees that may be charged by the relevant visa center, including but not limited to appointment rescheduling fees or other value-added service fees; all such fees must be borne by the applicant. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact our company at least 3 business days in advance to request the change. Specific requirements and related fees are subject to the regulations of the local appointment system and the visa center.

(4) Passport Pickup Methods

  • After the interview, passport pickup methods are subject to the arrangements of the U.S. Embassy or Consulate at the application location and the official appointment system. Depending on local arrangements, you may choose to pick up your passport in person or have it delivered by courier; specific pickup methods, service coverage, and related fees are subject to the actual arrangements at the submission location.

(5) EVUS Registration Instructions (if applicable)

  • Applicants holding a Mainland Chinese passport who have been granted a 10-year U.S. visa are generally required to complete EVUS registration before traveling to the United States (a separate service must be purchased). Please confirm your registration status and travel requirements in advance. We recommend booking flights and hotels only after confirming the relevant travel conditions to avoid unnecessary financial losses.

(6) Requirements for Authenticity of Documentation

  • U.S. visa applications have strict requirements regarding the authenticity of documentation. Applicants must ensure that the personal information provided, the content of the application form, and supporting documents are true, accurate, and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in a visa denial and adversely affect future U.S. visa applications.

(7) Telephone Interviews and Supplementary Documentation

  • U.S. embassies and consulates may conduct telephone interviews or request supplementary documentation based on the application’s circumstances. Please ensure that the contact information you provide is accurate and accessible, and actively cooperate with any related inquiries or requests for additional materials. The decision to grant a visa and the final outcome are determined by the U.S. embassy or consulate; our company cannot intervene or guarantee visa approval.

(8) Processing Time, Administrative Review (Check), and Travel Arrangements

  • Standard Processing: After passing the interview, the visa status is typically updated and the visa issued within 7–10 business days. The final validity period, number of entries, and processing time for a U.S. visa are determined solely by the U.S. Embassy or Consulate based on the applicant’s overall circumstances.
  • Administrative Review: Applicants in specific fields, high-tech sectors, or with sensitive backgrounds (e.g., STEM majors, researchers, senior technical personnel, etc.) or those with specific work experience are highly likely to undergo the Administrative Processing procedure after the interview. Applications cannot be expedited during this review period; processing time will be extended accordingly (typically 4–8 weeks or longer), and the final approved visa may be valid for only one year with either single or multiple entries.
  • Travel Advice: Given that U.S. visa processing times and appointment schedules vary depending on the application location, the applicant’s circumstances, and the progress of individual case reviews, the actual arrangements made by U.S. embassies and consulates and the official appointment system shall prevail. It is recommended to plan your application well in advance and, whenever possible, avoid paying for non-refundable expenses such as airline tickets and hotel reservations before your visa is approved to prevent unnecessary financial losses.

(9) Application Risk Restrictions for Third-Country Nationals (TCN)

  • Applicants submitting U.S. visa applications from a country or region other than their current country of nationality must not only hold long-term legal residency in that location but also strictly comply with the appointment policies of the local U.S. embassy or consulate regarding “Third-Country Nationals” (TCN). Some embassies and consulates impose total quotas on appointment slots for non-residents or implement separate appointment queuing systems; wait times for appointments are typically longer than for local residents, and during certain peak periods, they may even suspend the acceptance of regular visitor visa applications from Third Country Nationals.
