Shotover River White Water Rafting Experience from Queenstown

It’s super fun. You must take part in the level 3 to 5 whitewater rafting. There will be a shuttle bus to take you on a beautiful and thrilling ride. The scenery is as beautiful as the Secret of the Lord of the Rings. It’s a pity that you didn’t bring your mobile phone to take pictures. I will take you to change into cold-proof clothing and Shuoxi shoes. Remember to put on a swimsuit and bring a bath towel underneath. The place for rinsing is easier. Before starting, we asked someone to demonstrate and explain safety precautions. The instructor was professional and humorous. We also taught him Chinese instructions, which was very fun and exciting.

This trip was amazing! A great morning on the river that was well organised and a great laugh! Our captain, Jonesy, couldn’t have been any better - a great guy with some serious knowledge and good banter to back it up! If you’re staying in Queenstown this is a must do!!

Very very fun experience and the guides were all experts in the activity. The scenery from below was incredible and rapids were so fun to go through. The drive up the skippers canyon road was scary but such an experience. it offer dramatic view and drops vertically on the side of the cliff. photos included in the package

safety briefing was clear. instructors were caring and helpful. equipments are readult available for ur size. pictures are good . best experience ever.

The crews are very professional and that is important as it is a high risk activity. The water is cold even in summer! What an experience!

The whole process lasted 4 hours. Taking the shuttle to the boat boarding point was a one-way mountain road on the edge of the cliff, which was already very exciting! There are 2-4 level rapids in the process, and there is a chance to fall into the water and jump off the cliff! The activities are very diverse and worth playing!

Easy to book and cheaper using Klook. The operator Real NZ are very professional and highly trained, our group comprising majority first timers had a great time. The guides were very patient and calm and provided us with a lot of information. All equipment are provided and they emailed us pictures for free. The Shotover River was amazing with the levels 4-5 rapids coming mostly towards the end so we had lots of time early on in the calmer sections to practise on level 3 rapids and get to know our fellow guide and raftmates.

Exciting activity, about 80% in calm waters and 20% rapids. Instructors were very knowledgeable + there were life jackets so no safety-related concerns. Knowing how to swim is still a requirement though. No issues for those wearing glasses. Just make sure they are hooked/strapped securely

Thrilling ride but cold! The guide was clear in his instructions and he was safety conscious. He had to work hard as we needed to improve our paddling. Got the hang of it eventually. Recommend it for those who want to experience adrenaline!
