This was the only tour available when I booked the day before, so I chose it. However, it turned out to be much better than I expected, and I'm glad I picked this one over other tours. The meeting time is very early, which makes the morning a bit challenging, but because of that, the temples and hiking trails were less crowded, allowing for a stress-free experience. Unfortunately, it was cloudy this time, so we couldn't see the sunrise. Our guide was also very thorough and made the experience enjoyable. I'm very grateful. We arrived back at the hotel before 9 AM, which meant we had the rest of the day to enjoy, making it very efficient. I highly recommend this tour.
This time, I booked a tour for the early morning, hoping to see the sunrise. I didn't expect that a single person could form a group, which made the experience incredibly special! Our guide, G.Bright, was very patient and understanding. I'm someone who prefers to gather information through conversation, so this trip was incredibly rewarding! I actually asked a lot of silly questions, but the guide used his knowledge to answer every single one. The guide's English is fluent, but even if you're not very good at English, it's no problem; the guide will patiently use translation software to explain things in detail. Finally, the sunrise at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep was beautiful, and so was Wat Palad.
fabulous tour! Samantha was very knowledgeable and made this tour a wonderful experience for me. I booked the day before and was the only person on the tour. Can only recommend this company. red bus driver was smooth and made the long trip easy.
I had mentioned beforehand that I wasn't good at English, so it was very helpful that the guide used gestures and made everything easy to understand. We weren't blessed with good weather and couldn't see the sunrise, but the night view of Chiang Mai was amazing! It was also nice that we could take our time and enjoy it since there were few people in the early morning. There's also hiking, so comfortable walking shoes are a must. The guide was also friendly, making for a fun tour! Thank you! 😊
I made a last-minute decision to book the 4 PM tour for that day, and even though I was the only one, the tour still went ahead. Our guide, G Bright, was excellent and very nice; he arrived at the hotel early to wait for me. The first part of the trail was quite easy and not too tiring; it took about 30 minutes to climb up, and it felt very wild and natural. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is magnificent and offers a panoramic view of the entire city, and the blue hour at night was also beautiful. G Bright was very nice, and since we were both young, we had a lot to talk about.
The rain was heavy, so those planning to go should be prepared with rain gear. It's more like mountain climbing than hiking; you can't do it in sandals. I paid 100 for admission, 50 for the elevator, and 50B for a drink at the souvenir shop. I was lucky to be able to sign up and participate on the morning of the event.
Our tour guide, Saman, was so kind and gave wonderful explanations at the temple. We had a truly amazing time!
The route was pretty good; it was nice for a hike. The guide's voice was a bit soft, but they were very kind and even provided mosquito repellent and hiking poles.
