It was such a fun experience. The walk leading up to the tower was peaceful and calming. Getting up to the top of the tower was fairly easy as it is a very gradual incline. As you make your way up you’d be able to catch glimpses of what awaited at the top. The view was absolutely spectacular! I did not want to leave! But we got hungry and reluctantly started to make our way down. We decided to be brave and take the slide. The slide was fun but I also found it pretty scary because it was FAST. I did not expect to be sliding down at such a high speed! I also got pretty dizzy. But it was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend you try it at least once. At the base of the tower there was a cafe for a light meal, snacks or drinks. There was also a play area for children. The set up was pretty lovely and the grounds were very well kept. We were very glad we checked out this place. My husband enjoyed it very much as well.
Highly recommended especially if it’s your first time in BC or the island!! 🏝️🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
I had a wonderful experience at the Malahat SkyWalk! The entire attraction is beautifully designed, with a gentle, accessible walk through the forest leading up to the breathtaking spiral tower. The panoramic views of the ocean, mountains, and surrounding forests are absolutely stunning and worth every step.
great place for the families. the only thing we would like to point out is the slide. we were not instructed on how to ride it (need to hold the red strap and lean back) and one of my kids fell and flipped during the ride. the employee needs a reinforcement on the rules.
Loved everything about Malahat Skywalk. It brings a whole new level of adventure to Vancouver Island’s top-rated attraction. From the spiral stairs up 13 meters high for overlooking Canadian and US mountains, to high energy favorites like The skyweb and The sizzler slides. Such a wonderful adventure that everyone will enjoy. Cheaper whwn you buy through Klook.
Malahat Sky Walk is a must see. Our family of seven ages 9-70 all enjoyed it and the kids LOVED the slide and forest walk, the view is spectacular! all seven of us did the slide! I saved $37 when I purchased the tickets using Klook.
Malahat Skywalk definitely worth the stop! Theres free bathrooms and a gift shop, and then a nice trail for you to walk towards to skywalk structure, with things to read and learn along the way! The structure itself is cool on its on and provides great views when you get to the top as well as a glass box and a spider web structure you can step on. Lastly you can slide down a neat little slide which is fun for everyone!
This place is very special, with fun slides and a transparent observation deck. It's worth spending some time there, but it's a bit far from the pier, so if you need to catch a ferry, you'll need to manage your time carefully.
