Shaanxi Yellow River Hukou Waterfall

The Hukou Waterfall on the Yellow River in Shaanxi is located in Yichuan County, Yan'an City. It is the world's largest yellow waterfall and China's second-largest waterfall. As the surging Yellow River water flows through this area, the cliffs on both banks stand tall, the river channel suddenly narrows, and plunges into a deep gorge, forming the unique natural wonder of "a thousand miles of Yellow River gathered in one pot." This is not only the best place to experience the majestic power of the Yellow River up close but also a must-visit destination to appreciate the uncanny workmanship of nature.

• The scenic area has a large temperature difference and extremely strong mist. Be sure to bring non-slip shoes, a raincoat/waterproof jacket, and a waterproof phone bag.
• Drones need to be registered in advance. Drones are prohibited in the core area of the scenic spot. Please observe on-site signs.
• Playing time: 1.5-2 hours for core viewing, checking in at the main waterfall, the 50 RMB banknote scenic spot, and Shili Longcao.
• Outfit for photos: Wear bright clothes for good photos, prepare waterproof equipment. The Shaanxi side offers the best panoramic view from above.

• Safety Red Line: The ground is slippery, strictly forbidden to climb over railings or approach the water; look after the elderly and children, and follow staff guidance.
• General Information: Tickets are not interchangeable with the Shanxi side; the park may be temporarily closed during flood season/extreme weather, please check official announcements before traveling; those eligible for free admission must present valid documents for on-site verification.
