- This activity has no age limit
- Children aged 0-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult
- It is recommended to allow 2 hours to explore all five floors of the museum

- Snacks, drinks, and fresh pastries are available at the gift shop and cafe on-site
- The gift shop and cafe onsite coincide with the venue's regular hours of operation
- Visitors are allowed to being bottled water. All other food and beverages must be consumed on level 1
- The use of tripods and selfie-sticks is prohibited
- Smoking or vaping is prohibited
- Touching artifacts or display cases is prohibited unless clearly designated as interactive
- The venue maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
- Disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior may result in removal from the premises by security, without refund
- Wheelchair rentals: Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the visitor experience desk
- Accessible entrance: The north entrance off of 4 Street SE next to the NMC Gift Shop is fully accessible
- All exhibition stages, performance areas, entrances, and hallways are fully physically accessible and barrier-free, with two large elevators making it easy to move throughout the building
- Re-entry to the venue is permitted. Show your ticket/wristband/stamp upon re-entry at the entrance
- Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue
- Pets are not allowed inside the venue, with the exception of service animals with valid identification
- Photography is allowed, but taking videos and photos for commercial purposes, as well as the live broadcasting of the show is strictly prohibited
- Flash photography is prohibited inside the venue
- This activity is wheelchair-accessible

- By car: Take the 9 Ave. SW route and turn left onto 4th Street SE.
- Parking is located along 8 Avenue SE. with two paid public lots on the north and south sides of the street

- By bike: Bike racks are available along the sidewalk next to the building, as it is located directly on Calgary's bike path system
- On foot: Walk for less than 10 minutes from the Calgary Tower, Calgary Stampede, and the Calgary City Hall
