Such a great experience! Easy to book through Klook, hassle free to redeem the voucher. The facility is the same as the paintball so if you see that sign you are in the right place. Lots of parkings. Restrooms on the facility. A great experience trying all the different things from the indigenous people; bows, bamboo rice, bbq, how to set up traps, traditional clothes. For us not speaking mandarin we appreciated getting a leaflet in English from the tour organiser before arrival. We understood most of the activities thanks to that. But of course ut would have been appreciated if someone could translate to English as we still miss out on details and facts. All in all highly recommended and such a cool experience for the whole family! Our kids aged 4 and 5 loved it!

It’s a great experience. You can learn more about the traditional culture of the Ami people through the activities! The teachers are very humorous and cute! The Amis costumes look great, but it is a bit hot in summer, so it would be better to go in cooler weather! The kids were very happy to make the bamboo tube rice, but it tasted tasteless. I think it might be better to add some seasoning when making it! Archery practice is super fun and exciting! Unlimited drinking of millet wine, sweet and delicious! The BBQ meat daughter is full of praise! However, cultural experience is a matter of opinion, but at least our family is very happy! There are also other activities you can participate in here. If you want to experience Shuoxi or other itineraries next time, you should have a better experience!

In fact, it’s only a 15-minute ride from the city. I didn’t pay attention at first, thinking it was very far. I chose to ask for pick-up service, which costs 350 more per person 😅 But the whole experience was very fun, and because it was a weekday morning, it was just me and my husband. The two coaches were very attentive in chatting with us. Play slowly but there are really a lot of small black mosquitoes! It is recommended to wear long sleeves and long pants!

You can also wear Ami clothes to take pictures, cook rice in bamboo tubes, eat barbecue, play archery, drink millet wine... We had a fantastic experience immersing ourselves in the Huadong lifestyle at the Malasang aboriginal hunter school. From training with locals on traditional weapons like the bow-and-arrow and slingshot to learning essential survival skills such as net fishing and starting a fire using wood, every moment was both educational and engaging. The highlight was enjoying a delicious meal of aboriginal soup and bamboo tube rice, which added an authentic touch to the adventure. Although our pickup was 30 minutes late, the overall experience was still great and well worth it!

The activity guide was very friendly. He first introduced the traditional culture of the Amis people, then made bamboo rice, and then helped us change into traditional costumes and gave us time to take photos. Later, we experienced archery, which was fun! Then he introduced the traps for capturing prey in the mountains, experienced fishing nets, gathered together to grill small pieces of meat, tried millet wine, and then ate the bamboo rice we made ourselves. It had a light bamboo flavor and was not bad. Because the activity was moved to a new venue, the facilities were not yet very complete, but it did not affect our experience. If there is a chance, I would like to go again😍

It was fun although I couldn't understand much. I really loved it since I could master archery in no time, the instruction was clear. I love it! The food was nice, too.

One guide introduced us to different activities - archery, preparing bamboo rice, barbecuing meat, wearing aborigine costumes, how traps are set for hunting the aborigine way. An interesting experience for all. A most important tip: put on a lot of insect repellent and if you are prone to mosquito bites, cover up!

The bamboo tube rice is delicious, and the fishing lessons are also very interesting. It is suitable for adults and children to play together, or it is also great for a group of friends to enjoy the barbecue bamboo tube rice together!
