Yoshino River Rafting Experience (Tokushima)
- You can go rafting in Japan's most intense rapids. The activity takes approximately 3 hours.
- Grade 3+. This is an authentic course that junior high school students and older can enjoy, featuring diving, playing with boats, and various ways to descend the rapids.
- Staff who can communicate in English are always available!
- Even if you can't swim or don't have a swimsuit, you can participate. Also, if there's availability, you can join even on the day before or the same day.
What to expect
Rafting on the Yoshino River in Shikoku, Japan’s most thrilling rapids. Enjoy the captivating rapids and shallows flowing through the valley, as well as scenery that extends beyond your field of vision.
We offer two courses, morning and afternoon, so you can choose according to your convenience.
Meet your guide, put on your wetsuit, helmet, and life jacket, and your adventure begins. After receiving safety instructions, you'll board a raft with your group and set off for the Yoshino River.
Work with your team members to conquer 12 thrilling rapids. In between the rapids, enjoy a peaceful moment while gazing at the spectacular views of Oboke and Koboke.
Along the way, you can enjoy games and activities on the raft, or even jump from rocks into the river.
After your adventure, return to base, change into dry clothes, and reflect on your exciting experience. If you are afraid of rafting, the half-day morning course is recommended.
