Itinerary:
· 08:00 Gather at the designated location at Hakata Station, Fukuoka’s transportation hub (hotels within three kilometers straight line distance from Hakata Station can be upgraded to hotel pickup), and depart on time. · 10:30-11:20 【Aso Volcano Exploration】 Head to the Nakadake crater, the most active of the Aso Five Peaks. If volcanic activity is stable and weather conditions permit, you will be taken to the nearest viewing point to feel the Earth’s breath and roar (Please note: If the crater area is closed due to high volcanic gas concentration or weather conditions, the tour will instead go to 【Aso Volcano Observatory Park】 to view the spectacular volcanic landscape from the best angle). · 11:30-13:10 【Kusasenri】 Enjoy free time at Kusasenri, a vast lava plateau grassland at the foot of Mount Aso. You can stroll, take photos, admire the pastoral scenery reminiscent of a Windows desktop, and have lunch here (lunch is at your own expense, you can choose from restaurants within the scenic area). · 13:40-14:10 【Shirakawa Spring Source】 Visit Shirakawa Spring Source, one of Japan’s Top 100 Famous Waters. Here, up to 60 tons of clear spring water gush out every minute, with excellent water quality. You can witness the moment the water emerges from underground and personally taste or bottle this sweet and refreshing water. · 14:30-15:30 【Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine】 Step into this secluded shrine known as the “Forest of Fireflies.” Walk along moss-covered stone steps through towering cedar forests, with sunlight filtering through the leaves, creating a quiet and mysterious atmosphere. It is a must-visit sacred place for anime fans and photography enthusiasts. · Approximately 18:00 Return to Hakata Station, concluding a fulfilling one-day trip.

Reviews
Good to know
· Specificity of Aso Volcano Scenic Area: Aso Volcano is an active volcano. The open status of its crater area depends entirely on the volcanic gas concentration and weather conditions on the day, as determined in real-time by local management authorities. There is a possibility that the most core area may not be accessible. We will adjust to the best viewing plan based on the day’s conditions. Thank you for your understanding. · Recommended items to bring: The crater and grassland areas are windy and at a higher altitude, so temperatures are usually lower than in the city. Please be sure to prepare a windproof and warm jacket, and comfortable, non-slip hiking shoes. You can bring an empty water bottle to fill up at “Shirakawa Spring Water.” · Fees and Dining: The cost of this tour includes transportation and Chinese-speaking driver-guide service. It does not include all attraction tickets (if any), lunch, and personal expenses. For lunch, we recommend choosing a restaurant in the “Kusasenri” scenic area. · Group Formation and Safety: A minimum of 6 people are required to form a group. During outdoor activities, please be sure to follow the guide’s safety instructions, stay within designated areas, and do not enter dangerous areas without authorization. · Tour Duration: The停留时间 for each attraction in the itinerary is for reference only, and the actual time may be slightly adjusted due to road conditions, weather, or team pace on the day. The return time will be determined by the guide on-site.
