About CMP INSPIRATION Museum of Art
CMP INSPIRATION Museum of Art is a museum created for imagination. It is the first cultural venue in Taiwan designed by international architect Kengo Kuma, opening up the land from the block and guiding the audience into the museum with the design vocabulary of curly arabesque. Through art education, creator support, and international curatorial exhibitions, CMP Museum of Art uses creative translation and cross-border integration to connect art, design, and daily life, inviting everyone to open their imagination together.
About the 2025 Winter Exhibition "Input > Unknown"
CMP Museum of Art invites the Taiwan cross-domain art group WHYIXD, winner of the Italian A'Design Award Platinum Award, to take over, responding to the long-term accumulated "inspiration energy" context of Qinmei Caowu and the core concept of CMP Museum of Art, which has always been to "open up imagination"; This time, with the theme of "light and shadow", technology, perception and imagination are intertwined, inviting the audience to travel through light and shadow to see how inspiration flows, is generated and blooms between the city and daily life.
In the digital language, the command prompt "Input >" waits for the next instruction. This exhibition "Input > Unknown" invites the audience to use their bodies and senses as "input" to personally participate in a perceptual calculation about "Unknown". Curated and created by the cross-domain new media team WHYIXD, combined with the German sound art laboratory KLING KLANG KLONG, the Taiwan visual design team HOUTH, and the artist Chuang Chih-Wei, four creative units jointly construct an immersive exhibition that integrates light, sound, wind, and data to explore the "authenticity" and sensory boundaries of the digital age.

Admission Reminders
- Exhibition tickets are available for purchase through two channels: online (Klook) and on-site (CMP Village). You can choose the purchase method according to your individual needs and ticket purchase qualifications. The number of tickets is limited each day, while supplies last. During the exhibition period, the organizer will control the number of people according to the on-site flow of people, and visitors will enter in batches and in sequence according to on-site instructions. The actual admission time will depend on the on-site situation. Please arrive at the venue before the specified date and time. If you are late, you will be deemed to have forfeited your admission qualification for that session, or you will not be able to fully experience it. The last exchange admission time for each day of the exhibition is as follows:
(1) Christmas Limited Period: Before 20:00 on the specified date.
(2) General Exhibition Period: Before 17:00 on the specified date.
- In order to maintain the safety of the exhibition and on-site order, the organizer will not open and has the right to refuse ticket purchase and admission to those who are drunk or in poor mental condition.
- Entering the exhibition area, it is forbidden to use flash, tripods, selfie sticks, long lenses and stabilizers, etc. Shooting should not affect the on-site viewing flow and viewing quality. Without prior permission, commercial shooting and interviews are not allowed. Food and drinks are prohibited in the exhibition area, and pets are not allowed.
- Please abide by the instructions of the on-site staff and the exhibition-related regulations. Please do not push, run, jump or engage in other dangerous behaviors while viewing the exhibition. If the work is damaged, the organizer reserves the right to pursue liability. After the exhibition, please be sure to return the viewing object (polarized lens) to the organizer.
- If there are any changes to the exhibition time, content and regulations, please refer to the on-site or official social media announcements; during the exhibition period, if you cannot enter the venue due to special conditions of the exhibits or venue, Klook will contact you to assist with rescheduling or a full refund. * The winter exhibition is divided into two business hours (Christmas Limited Period and General Exhibition Period). The admission date and time are limited to the specified date selected when purchasing the ticket. Please pay attention to the CMP Village business hours.

* Designated date tickets must be purchased online during that time period. After the time limit, you will not be able to purchase tickets online and will need to queue up to purchase tickets on-site. Please refer to the quantity available for purchase displayed by the system. If a message such as "Insufficient stock quantity" appears, it means that the quantity available for purchase is limited. If you cannot select a specified date, it means that tickets for that day are sold out. If you encounter system operation problems or network abnormalities that cause the ticket purchase page to display abnormally, please refresh the page or try again later. The last ticket purchase time for each day of the exhibition is as follows:

Blew my mind. One of the best exhibits I've been to and i've been to a lot! If you're going to Taichung and this is still ongoing, pleaseee go!
A creative little exhibition with clever and flexible use of space, combining Taichung's local city culture and art, allowing you to cultivate your mind and body while sightseeing.
A new visual experience, open until 9 PM during the Christmas season.
I initially thought it would be a small exhibition, but after careful observation, I could appreciate the creator's dedication. Polarized light, transparent panels, and mirrors combine to create a variety of scenes. Adding explanations would make it easier for the public to understand the principles involved. This type of exhibition isn't suitable for large crowds, or it will turn into a superficial experience. It's a light exhibition that requires you to calm down and savor the details.
I think this is one of the top three most unique exhibitions I've seen in Taichung. Using the small mirror yourself creates a highly immersive experience. I recommend it for couples, families, and good friends!
"Sea Realm" is a section I really enjoyed. Sitting in the dark and watching the flow of light is very calming and allows you to feel yourself. I spent almost 15 minutes in this section alone and highly recommend it!!
Buying your CMP Block Museum of Arts tickets on Klook is a huge plus for those who like to "book in advance and skip the line."
