Begin your adventure to the 7 Lakes of Ausangate with a morning pick-up from your Cusco hotel and a scenic drive to the Andean community of Pacchanta. After a nourishing local breakfast and briefing, set out on a 7.5 km trek. During this time, we'll visit the Azulqocha (Blue Lake), Orco Otorongo (Male Jaguar Lake), China Otorongo (Female Jaguar Lake), Puqacocha (Red Lake), Alqacocha (Brown Lake), Qomercocha (Green Lake), and Patacocha (High Plateau Lake) lakes, and marvel at the views of majestic mountains such as Ausangate, Mariposa, Jampa, Pucapunta, Caracol, and Tinke. Don't forget to spot native wildlife such as alpacas, llamas, and possibly the Andean condor. Afterwards, return to Pacchanta for a lunch and some relaxation in the medicinal hot springs before heading back to Cusco around 7:00 pm.
