What to expect

【Horse Trust】 The Horse Trust provides a safe, natural home for retired horses, allowing them to live freely in a wild-like environment. Join Mr. Konishi, a long-time advocate for horse welfare, to learn about the Horse Trust’s work and visit areas usually closed to the public. Enjoy views of Sakurajima and Kinko Bay while meeting horses living peacefully in vast green pastures. This program offers a relaxing and meaningful experience through gentle interaction with the horses.

Take a pleasant hike with Mr. Konishi and meet horses at each ranch. You can choose to visit either two or all four ranches within two hours. The price remains the same, so you can explore comfortably at your own pace.

Hiking with a Horse Whisperer (Hiking only)

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Minimum participants: 2 persons
  • Start times: 10:00 am / 1:00 pm (twice daily)
  • Meeting point: Kirishima Art Farm Reception

Special Event: Early Morning Horse Patrol

  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Meeting time: 8:10 am at Kirishima Art Farm Reception

Taxi Transfer Plan

  • Round-trip transfer from Kirishima Jingu station included
  • From Kirishima Jingu Station: 　・10:00 am plan → Pick-up at 9:15 am 　・1:00 pm plan → Pick-up at 12:15 pm

Additional Notes

  • The activity runs even in light rain (bring rainwear).
  • Suitable for elementary school students and above.
  • Children are charged the same as adults.
  • Please bring your own drinks for the hike.
  • Arrive at least 10 minutes before your reserved time.
