D-Day Beaches of Normandy Day Tour from Paris with Authentic French Lunch

Our Citywonder guide Sam is a very knowledgeable person! He knows everything about the war history from 18xx to 1945. He teaches us the whole trip about the things that happened in the war. Highly recommend this tour and the guide! People who love history should not miss this opportunity to experience yourself.

Although we arrived early, it was a bit difficult to find the meeting point based on the pre-trip instructions. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and had a deep understanding of Normandy's history and key figures. Our group consisted of over forty visitors from various countries, and the guide was attentive to everyone's individual needs. We gained a lot from the day's activities.

Sam was our guide & I could feel his passion as a tour guide. He explained & shared details of what happened during WW1&2 so that we can have more understanding about the places that we are visiting. Shasha was our driver & I thank him for the smooth journey. 3 course lunch was good as well. I definitely enjoyed my day.

Maja was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, funny and a great story teller. It was a long day ~12 hours, but it doesn't feel that long as there are lots of stops and Maja shares stories along the way. Would highly recommend this tour.

The narrated tour of the Normandy landings was good. This time it was all about Americans going to the battlefield ruins to look for traces of their grandfathers and elders fighting on the front lines.

The tour guide is knowledgeable and shares many interesting stories, making the history easy to understand. The shuttle bus is comfortable. However, I wish we had more time at the Utah museum. The time limit was too tight to explore everything properly. There was only enough time to watch the video and take a very quick look at the indoor exhibits, so I missed the outdoor exhibition. The most disappointing part was that the tour guide seemed a bit racist. Most of the guests were American, and he only engaged with them. He skipped my friend and me when collecting trash on the shuttle bus and didn’t give us the chance to scan the QR code to leave a review. If I were a white person, this tour would be 4.5 stars.

I booked a trip for a family of four on February 3rd, and the appointment was to meet at 7 am. My 7-year-old child suddenly had a fever at night, and I immediately contacted customer service to cancel the order or postpone it for one day, but the customer service kept saying that they had to wait for the organizer to reply. It might be because of the night, and they had not received a confirmation reply, so I could only let my husband and eldest daughter participate in the trip normally, and I could only stay in the hotel to take care of my younger daughter. After the trip started, the customer service replied and refused to refund. During the period, I contacted many times, and I didn’t understand English. I always relied on translation software to contact the organizer by email, but in the end, it was very regrettable that no problem was solved. So I advise all Chinese who are not good at English to participate in klook carefully. They have no bargaining power with the organizer at all, whether in terms of the convenience of contact or the ability to solve problems, which is not comparable to our journey. From now on, I will not book on the klook platform, and I will also ask my friends not to book. There is also a bad tour guide. During the ride, my husband fell asleep and snored. The tour guide was rude and grabbed my husband’s collar and shook him, behaving so rudely and rudely. The whole experience is extremely bad!
