Vung Tau Full-Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City

We took a private tour with our group of 11 — including 4 children aged 6 to 10 — and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Our guide, Tom, was professional, warm & incredibly attentive, especially to the kids. He made every effort to keep them comfortable and engaged throughout the day. We visited the White Palace, the beach, and explored the new Song Vĩnh Cathedral — each stop was thoughtfully explained. Our original plan included Jesus Mountain, and Google even showed it open, but when we arrived we found it closed for the Easter preparations. Tom immediately adapted the itinerary and took us to Long Son House instead, where he gave an informative tour about the local culture, history, and architectural features. His knowledge and storytelling made the alternative even more meaningful. Tom also went above and beyond taking lovely photos for our group so we could remember the day. Everything was handled with care and genuine friendliness. A wholehearted 10 out of 10!

I enjoyed my recent trip to Vung Tau starting with a comfortable & relaxing ride on the coach. Our tour guide Louis was friendly, professional, approachable, and knowledgeable. I appreciate he tells us a brief history of the White Palace, the significant of the Wale temple to honor the wales, and I had a nice relaxing time exploring the surrounding beach area, and a delicious lunch which was included. My visit to Vung Tau gave me an alternative perspective & insight to a slower paced lifestyle to the motorbike, noise, and congestion of HO Chi Minh City. I highly recommend this tour.

The guide, Anna was friendly, helpful, and shared interesting information along the way. Vung Tau is a beautiful place with nice scenery, fresh sea breeze, and relaxing coastal views. The itinerary was well paced, with enough time to enjoy the main attractions, take photos, and experience the local atmosphere without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable day trip. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a relaxing and meaningful getaway from Ho Chi Minh City!

Huy was a great guide. He knew lots about every aspect of our journey. Pick up arrangements were smoothe. the van was spacious and new. Huy and the driver gave us a safe and enjoyable day. My dietry allergies were catered for. It was a long drive for the time in Vung Tau but I feel it was worth it. i felt sorry for the members who climbed the 900 strps only to find the statue climb closed for the lunch time period. Yes there ARE 900 steps. I stayed down and enjoyed a coffee and the view. Lunch was lovely, served family style. I enjoyed all the places we stopped and had a lovely day. thanks Huy!

very good experience with the tour really enjoyed the other side of Vietnam. most especially the culture and food. sir nam is very patient with us, for answering all of our questions and for taking really good care of us and also to our driver for keeping us safe all throughout the tour. the free lunch is also good we’ve enjoyed it a lot considering we have companion of kids and elderly. The tour was an excellent experience. The destinations were beautiful and well worth visiting, and the food provided was delicious and of high quality. The tour guide was professional, communicated clearly in English, and provided detailed and informative explanations throughout the trip. Overall, the tour was well-organized and enjoyable, making it a memorable experience that I would gladly recommend to others.

We thought this trip wouldn’t push through since there were only two of us booked that day, but the organizer was kind enough to proceed with it anyway. Most of the places we visited had free entrance. The White Palace was closed on Mondays, so we went to a Catholic church instead, then visited the Jesus Christ Statue, then to a small hill with overlooking view. After that, we had a hearty meal at a local Vietnamese eatery, stopped by a local temple, and ended the trip at Vung Tau Beach. The tour was supposed to end at 5 PM, but we finished around 2 PM. The drive going there actually took longer than the time we spent exploring, since we wanted to avoid rush hour in the city center. Our tour guide, Nam, was really helpful and informative about all the places we visited. He made the experience even more meaningful by sharing insights about Vung Tau. By the way, we chose to visit this place because we saw it in Super Junior Kyuhyun’s Vung Tau vlog 💙

Visiting Christ statue is the highlight of the tour. Highly recommend to go up to its shoulder and watch the view of Vung Tau coastline. The rest of the attractions are alright. We start the day taking the van at 7am and return to hotel at 6pm. The total transportation time is about 5.5 hours.
