Good to know

When you watch the Grand Sumo Wrestling Tournament, you will have a reserved B-class seat (3rd floor seating). Depending on reservation conditions, members of the same group may not be able to sit together. Requests for designated seats will not be accepted. Smoking is prohibited inside the venue. No refunds will be given, even if customers do not enter the attraction due to personal reasons, etc. If you are planning other activities before or after the tour on the same day, or if you are traveling from Kyoto, Hiroshima, or other areas to participate in the tour, please allow plenty of time. Please note that if the following events are in progress upon your arrival, you may have to wait to be seated: sumo matches, the makuuchi wrestlers’ ring-entering ceremony (dohyoiri), the grand champion’s ring-entering ceremony, the sumo wrestlers’ leg-stamping ceremony, or the Sumo Association’s address (on the last day of the tournament). If this occurs, you will be shown to your seat after the event. One child aged 0-3 can participate for free per adult. Seats are not provided for them at the sumo tournament, and they will need to sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. Age is based on the age on the day of participation (if a seat is required, please book at the adult price). Please note that there are no coin lockers or luggage storage services available inside the venue, so please store large luggage in lockers or at baggage counters elsewhere in advance, or minimize the amount of luggage you bring. All travel participants under the age of 18 must provide written parental permission. Participants under the age of 15 or who have not yet entered junior high school must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the tour. Personal travel and personal accident insurance are not included in the day trip itinerary. Please purchase your own if needed. Outdoor activities and high-risk sports involve specific risks and dangers. You must assess your own health or ability. The company is not responsible for any physical damage or injury caused by accident or unforeseen circumstances. Thank you for your understanding.
