Reviews
My group of 6pax have enjoyed our 2D1N tour of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, we were especially fortunate to have such an excellent guide in Ms Zhang, 张静娟. Our itinerary was well scheduled and Ms Zhang's detailed explanation of the places that we're visiting is clear and precise. She has also advised us of the nice local food that we should try. The 6 different transportation is an experience as we crossed the Alps and the mountains to reach the snow walls. The highest point of the wall was 11m, unfortunately, it was raining when we reached the snow wall, our photos was alittle blurry and wet but our excitement has compensated for the weather 😂
The two-day tour from Nagoya to Kamikochi and Tateyama Kurobe, though a long journey, was perfectly planned, and our guide, Xiao Bo, was incredibly dedicated and responsible! She meticulously counted everyone at each stop, ensuring no one was left behind, which made us feel very secure. Her explanations were detailed and vivid; she clearly described both the natural beauty of Kamikochi and the transportation transfers at Tateyama Kurobe. She also handled all arrangements promptly. Throughout the entire trip, Xiao Bo was both professional and warm, making this tour a perfect experience! I definitely want to join her tour again if I have the chance.
Tour guide: The person was very good and took good care of the tour members most of the time. She tried her best to help when needed and was very responsible. Accommodation options: The hotel was a bit old, and the room had a smell. I planned to open the window to air it out, but a few bugs flew into the room 😓. As a result, I couldn't sleep well all night. The hotel was clean, just a bit old. Itinerary: The itinerary was very rushed. The page introduction said the stay at Tateyama would be 6 hours, but we took the first mode of transportation at 8:30 AM in Ogizawa, and by 1:15 PM, we had already arrived at Tateyama Murodo. The overall feeling was too rushed, and in the end, we even skipped the Bijodaira station and took the bus directly from Murodo back to Tateyama Station. The weather didn't affect any of the transportation being suspended, so I don't understand why it was so rushed. Even Kamikochi didn't have enough time to see all the attractions. However, this is a limitation of group tours. After gaining experience, I can travel independently. Tateyama Kurobe and Kamikochi are places where you can have different experiences in all four seasons and are very worth visiting again.
First, I'd like to thank the clear skies we had for the past two days. Next, our tour guide Amy was professional, dedicated, and very helpful. The driver's skills were excellent, providing a smooth and comfortable ride. The accommodation and meal arrangements were very satisfying, and my fellow travelers were all high-quality companions. Thumbs up!
Our tour guide, Mr. Zheng, provided excellent service 👍. He thoroughly explained the highlights and unique features of each attraction and clearly communicated even small details, such as where we would have lunch. I hope I have the opportunity to tour with Mr. Zheng again in the future. Thank you 🙏.
For some reason, I didn't receive any notifications before the trip, which made me quite nervous. Since I was traveling alone, I was really worried about being left behind. However, our tour guide Amy was absolutely wonderful! She spoke Chinese, English, and Japanese fluently, explained everything clearly, and introduced the itinerary in great detail. Because of the limited time, she repeatedly reminded the group to be punctual, which was necessary. At Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, she guided us through all six stages of transfers, making us feel very secure. This entire trip was made 100 times better because of Amy. The only downside was not receiving pre-trip notifications from the platform; I didn't know the guide's name or the license plate number, so I had no idea how to find the group. The single room accommodation that night was also excellent. Although the inn was a bit old, the overall service and food made for a very comfortable stay. I just don't understand where we were staying for the two-day itinerary. Shouldn't the schedule have been known in advance? Why was there constant pressure to shorten the itinerary due to the driver's 11-hour limit? If we could have met at Kamikochi at 4:30 PM, it would have been much more comfortable. And only allowing 5 hours for Kurobe was an impossible task, right? Everyone knows it takes about 6-8 hours. If it weren't for the bad weather closing it, it would have been incredibly rushed.
Great trip, suitable for people who are physically fit. Also, a big thank you to our guide, Liu Mei, for her care. Highly recommended.
ok straightforward tour. no frails. stay could be better. pace of tour overall is not too bad. not too rush
The itinerary is well-planned and worth participating in. Highly recommended!
Our tour guide, Amy, explained every detail very clearly, and she and the driver did their best to arrange the optimal timing for us, allowing us ample and sufficient time to enjoy each location.
