What to expect
Expo ’70 Commemorative Park will hold the Summer Festival 2025 mainly on weekends from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, September 15th.
Illumination Night creates a fantastical world view centered around the Tower of the Sun, and the Expo Night Market with Beer Garden features a food area with nostalgic food stand menus, izakaya menus for alcohol lovers, and sweets. Also fair booths, street performances, for children's amusement park, goldfish scooping, dancing Bon Odori and Awa Odori , singing karaoke championship, music DJ's, Hawaiian hula, and this year, will be decorated with red Taiwanese lanterns which ceates a magical atmosphere, also you can play Taiwanese ring toss.

The venue is buzzing! We recommend wearing a yukata! There's an area inside for setting off fireworks, so you can bring your own bucket and fireworks (fireworks are sold at 7-Eleven before entering the park; buckets can be rented for a fee inside).
It was worth the price because it felt safe, wasn't too crowded, and was easy to get around. Also, the Tower of the Sun was beautifully lit up at night.
A great festival, glad I had the chance to attend.
It was fun and the tower of the sun was beautiful! There was lots of food options and the music was pretty good. Keep in mind you need to buy tickets again to get into the area where the festival is at. Also be sure to bring cash because they don't accept card.
There were fewer people than I expected. But the lighting and decorations were truly beautiful. The music was good too.
