Route Overview: Ascent is approximately 6.8 kilometers, taking 5-7 hours; descent is a separate trail, taking approximately 3-5 hours. The ascent and descent routes are separate, reducing congestion and confusion. Suitable for: First-time climbers, families, those who prefer a stable and comfortable experience.
⚡ Fujinomiya Trail (Advanced Challenge · Efficient Summit) Location and Difficulty: South side of Mount Fuji (Shizuoka Prefecture), shortest route but steep slopes, many rocky sections, slightly higher difficulty, more challenging. Route Overview: Total length approximately 4.3 kilometers, ascent takes 5-7 hours, same route for ascent and descent. Starting elevation is approximately 2400 meters (highest among the four routes), allowing for quicker access to the summit. Highlights: Fewer crowds than the Yoshida Trail, passes by Hoei-zan (a sub-peak), expansive views, high efficiency for reaching the summit. Suitable for: Those with hiking experience, seeking a challenge, wanting to reach the summit quickly, and mountain climbing enthusiasts.
