It feels like you are in a mysterious space of ancient ruins! “Otani Museum” The Otani Museum is a representative tourist attraction in the area, where you can experience the historical charm of the stone town of Otani. The predecessor of the Otani Museum is a historic quarry, and the stone used for the main statue of Guanyin in Otani Temple came from here. The museum not only preserves detailed information about the mining technology, tools and historical data of Otani Stone, but also allows visitors to visit the spectacular underground space covering an area of approximately 20,000 square meters and 30 meters deep. The dark, quiet and solemn atmosphere of the ruins make it look like a mysterious underground temple, making it a popular filming location for movies, music videos, dramas and even concerts. The Otani Stone, which once supported the local architecture and culture, continues to tell the history of “Stone Town” in this space.

The so-called “Metropolitan Area Outer Drainage Channel” is a large underground drainage system built under National Highway 16. It consists of multiple facilities, including inflow facilities that draw water from various rivers, underground waterways for storing or diverting water, and drainage airports that discharge water to the ground. The entire system works together to prevent flood disasters, making it a world-class example of disaster prevention engineering. This time we have arranged a popular itinerary! Underground Temple Guided Tour: This guided tour takes you to visit the core facility, the “pressure regulating tank”. The whole tour takes about 55 minutes, including a brief introduction to the facility by a professional guide, and free time to visit ※Note: The park will be temporarily closed if the pump is in operation
