Review for: ESapa Trekking Ta Van Village & Batik Painting (Optional Chinese Guide)

This was a wonderful and insightful tour. I learned a lot about the different tribes and cultures of local Sa Pa people. Mai the tour guide was very friendly, kind and helpful. She picked me up at my hotel then we had a short car ride to the starting point of the trek. The trek itself was very easy, mostly flat with a little bit of climb. The views of the valley were stunning. I was also able to take home my batik painting as a souvenir. The food for lunch was very foreigner-friendly although I wouldn’t mind being served more traditional delicacies. The herbal soak at the end was a bonus.

Review for: ESapa Trekking Ta Van Village & Batik Painting (Optional Chinese Guide)

I wanted to join a one-day tour, and I was specifically looking for a Chinese-speaking tour, so I was thrilled to find this one. It was such a relief not to have to practice my English listening skills. The tour included indigo dyeing, wax painting, and a herbal bath, all of which were excellent quality. My whole family loved it. My tour guide, A Ping, was incredibly helpful and friendly, and he shared a lot of useful travel information about Sapa with me. This tour offers the chance to see many beautiful rice terraces that aren't visible from Sapa town, and you can even hike among them. I highly recommend it.

Taban Village was very peaceful. I liked the more natural scenery compared to Cat Cat Village. The guide was kind and friendly. I had no discomfort throughout the schedule.
