Shanshui Summer Grill - Penghu

From August 11th to 17th, we stayed in Magong, Penghu, for seven days and six nights. On the 12th, we tried another barbecue restaurant, and on the 15th, we decided to pick another one for the next day. When we saw that Shanshui Summer BBQ advertised fresh seafood delivered daily, we decided to go there. We confirmed over the phone that we would be using a Klook voucher, and they suggested we arrive at 5:30 PM. We arrived on time and found that this time slot was perfect: easy parking, and we could get food almost immediately without waiting in line. The owner managed everything smoothly. She was concerned that the enoki mushrooms and clams in our foil tray would take up too much grill space and that we might not eat enough if we grilled too slowly, so she took them to be heated elsewhere (she also suggested the enoki mushrooms to us). Besides the oysters, the unlimited squid was truly fantastic. Our family of five had a wonderful feast. After eating, we took a leisurely stroll back to the car, enjoying the summer evening breeze. The oysters are very fresh. There was a cool sea breeze that day, and the restaurant provides iced black tea, so it wasn't stuffy. Be sure to reserve a spot in advance. It's across from Shanshui Beach, so you can play in the water before the barbecue starts at 5 PM.

The oysters are incredibly delicious and fresh! They also replenish the food quickly, so you don't have to worry about not getting enough; the only concern is eating too much! There's also water nearby for rinsing, and unlimited black tea and water, which is great for cutting through the richness. The staff are patient and have excellent attitudes, even when it's busy, which is commendable! 👍👍👍 I'll definitely visit again.

This was my first time grilling oysters, and they were incredibly fresh and sweet. They also offered complimentary black tea. The owner was very enthusiastic and taught everyone how to grill them perfectly.

Be sure to make a reservation, there is a lot of seafood, grilled oysters, squid, crab, fish, etc. The barbecue sauce is great, the pork belly is good, and the CP value is great.

It's very crowded, so be sure to book in advance. There are many food options to choose from. White rice and black tea are included, other drinks are available at an additional cost.
