This was an awesome experience. ✔️ Very relaxing and calm as the boat lazily meandered along the Irrawaddy from Bagan to Mandalay ❤️. Plenty of time to enjoy your own headspace and read or simply enjoy for views along the river.👍 The staff were friendly and the food was great. 10/10 😀😎
If you have time and you want to rest, this activity is best for you. You can plan your trip to Bagan whilst here... The sunset is beautiful. The food is so-so, not very great but not awful. The trip to pottery village is also one good sidetrip.. I wish there could have been wifi though.
had to wake up really early and spent the day on the boat but it was a calming, relaxing day off from travelling around myanmar. caught the sunset on the boat too! refreshments, breakfast and lunch were provided, and there were beers and snacks for purchase.
Enjoyable long day slowly going up the river. Early start. See sunrise and sunset on the water. Adequate breakfast and lunch. Free WiFi and good seating on deck or inside A/C cabin.
Comfortable boat and friendly, helpful crew. It’s a long ride so bring a book and prep some podcasts, but it’s a smooth ride and comfortable chairs you can relax in.
The river tour tour was the best idea to travel! It's a perfect way to relax after all the sightseeing. The ferry was clean and comfortable! The food was really awesome!!! The best food I ate in Myanmar!!! The crew was very lovely too!!! 5 stars for that tour!!! Best wishes! Fabian from Germany
This is absolutely an adventurous and unforgettable experience. The boat condition is very poor. Chairs are shaking. We sailed for 3 hours in the river and we stuck by the sand under the river. We took 3-4 hours to pull out the ferry, but eventually one out of the two engines was broken. We can just land on the closest port. The company arrange coaches to get everyone to Bagan. Finally after almost 3 hours drive on a very bad constructed road, we arrived. However, the views are awesome evening during that 3 hours cruise. This boat is only suitable to backpackers, if don’t like squeezing with others during lunch, fighting for seats, please find a better Ferry, there are plenty of options.

Loved the staff. Loved the trip overall. Very relaxing. The trip to the local town where we saw the pottery being made was great. Only problem was when we arrived in Bagan we noticed money had been stolen from my girlfriend's purse while she had been sleeping down stairs. Very disappointing. Shame how one person could do this, but everyone apart from the thief was very, very nice. The girl who led the pottery tour was very talented. I'd still recommend this tour, but be careful of your money - anywhere in Myanmar.
Decent trip, basic food was provided, totally worth it if you're into a day of lazing in the sun and looking at peaceful scenery.
