Mount Etna Morning Jeep Tour

The pick-up was punctual, the pick-up location was easy to find, the tour guide/driver had excellent driving skills, and a wealth of knowledge, providing a lively and interesting introduction along the way; the itinerary included visits to local specialty shops (with samples of honey, wine, and olive oil available for tasting), a walk through a volcanic cave (hard hats required for the entire duration, and the tour guide provided each person with a flashlight to use during the cave visit), and a walk on a trail towards the volcano; visiting in January meant that Mount Etna had recently been covered in snow, and the powdery snow covering the trails, combined with the smoking Mount Etna, made for great scenery and an unforgettable experience.

It was a fun and well-organized tour! ㅎㅎㅎ The guide explained about the mountain and the volcano eruption the whole hour we went to Mount Etna, so it was interesting ㅎㅎㅎ It was a shame that we couldn't see the crater because of the thick fog, but it was good ㅎㅎ

Our guide Fabio was fabulous and he told us great things about Etna volcano. Also the cave experience and tasting experience was fantastic. Highly recommended 😁

Just so others are aware, the pick up point ended up being on the west side of the roundabout, not exactly where google maps leads you. Our guide Mickey was a lot of fun! Unfortunately there was some rain during our hike but we made the most of it and it was still a beautiful sight. I can only imagine what the scenery is like when it's clear. My only regret is that I wish I did a sunset tour instead but that probably would've been cloudy/rainy too given my luck 😅

very convenient pickup location. the tour size is 1:6 on a private car. It is comfortable and safe. Guide is engaging.

A very nice tour with knowledgeable tour guides who will take you through the history of mount Etna. Would recommend this tour to those who wants to skip the hassle of taking public transport or driving to Etna

Definitely recommend! you can go up to 2,000m and you have stops at some places. I walked crater and the view was amazing!

The tour guide was very enthusiastic and chatted with us throughout the trip, introducing us to Catania's food and customs. Due to snow on the mountain, we couldn't go up the last part of the route, and the tour ended early, which was a bit of a pity.

The correct meeting point in the morning seems to be in front of the steakhouse, which is a little away from the initially designated location. Even if you don't speak the language, the accompanying staff will proactively try to understand and treat you in a friendly manner. Above all, the beautiful natural scenery is exhilarating.

The tour was enjoyable, mainly thanks to the super friendly and engaging guides who created a great atmosphere. We particularly loved the tasting experience, which was a highlight. However, we were expecting a jeep experience but were instead in a minibus with six other people (eight total), which wasn’t quite what we had in mind. Given this, we feel the overall price should be lower to better match the experience provided.
