Monet: The Late Waterscapes Exhibition (Kyoto)

I bought a same-day Monet exhibition and Nijo Castle Sakura set. If you can't go on the day, you can use it until the ticket expiration date. You don't have to buy a ticket at the ticket box, just show the ticket you reserved in advance when you enter. Open the voucher that came by email and show the ticket linked to the link when you enter. The Kyocera Museum of Art Monet exhibition was great and the garden was beautiful. There were many works. Nijo Castle's night opening had a lot of food and the cherry blossoms at night were really beautiful. They projected a video on the main building and the castle walls to create a wonderful sight. I highly recommend the Nijo Castle night opening, which takes about 70 minutes.

the monet exhibit at the Kyocera is something to see. the museum is very organized with friendly staff and its a very big museum so if you have time to check out other exhibits you are already there

I don't think I've ever seen this many of Monet's water lilies in my lifetime, and I can confidently say that this is the greatest achievement of my trip to Kyoto. I hope I can see an exhibition like this in Korea too.

When I was traveling in Kyoto, I happened to see the Monet exhibition in the advertisement at the station. I bought the ticket online and showed it directly to enter. The exhibition includes Monet's works from his early to late periods, mainly focusing on water lilies and Monet's garden landscapes. It is really worthwhile to appreciate Monet's depiction of water flow, reflections, flowers and grass!

🥹It’s really beautiful to watch it live, it’s really worth going to see! I was also lucky enough to encounter beautiful wisteria flowers outside 💖 I thought it would be complicated to get the ticket, but luckily Klook was very intuitive and I could just open it and scan it!

You can get a paper ticket at the information desk. There is a place to store your luggage for 100 yen each time. You will get a key.

this is an excellent art exhibition that I would recommend all fan of monet and impressionism to visit. however you cannot skip the lines if you haven't made a reservation in advance even with the e ticket and I hope klook could highlight this in the confirmation of order.

absolutely loved seeing this exhibition. redeeming the tickets was easy to do at the ticket counter and you can take photos in one section of the gallery. there is a massive garden as you exit.

The Monet exhibition held in Kyoto was impressive because I was able to see the works of the Impressionist master in person. In particular, the water lily series was much more delicate and vivid in terms of color and light expression when seen in person. The exhibition space was well organized, so I was able to appreciate it leisurely, and the immersive production in the last space was impressive because it made me feel as if I had entered the painting.

The museum closes at 6pm, so I went at 4:30pm. There was no line and not many people, so I was able to enjoy the tour comfortably and leisurely. I heard that there are a lot of people in the morning even on weekdays, but it was nice when I went. Just open the voucher link that Klook gave you and show it. There is a coffee shop inside the museum, and they have a lot of coffee and delicious tea. I was so happy to see Monet so close and so big.
