Helicopter glacier landing is a must-experience adventure in New Zealand! The magnificent scenery overlooking the glacier from a high altitude is stunning! It is recommended to choose a longer scenery + landing itinerary, which will take more time to take pictures! It is also recommended to wear a hooded jacket to avoid scalp sunburn 😂
No need to arrive early, as they only allow check in at EXACTLY the time of your booking. Everything was quick and smooth.
Wanted to rate 5 but there was a technical issue a bit during the flight where we did not really hear what captain say on the helicopter. That’s sad whcause I’d love to listen to the story but it must have been the noise all around. However, it was truly a once in a life time experience and highly recommend other people to try!

An amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience! The instructor explains the scenery along the way and takes pictures for you, but more importantly, the feeling of looking down at the glacier with your own eyes is unparalleled.

Amazing experience! The helicopter view of the Tasman Glacier was spectacular, and seeing the ice-blue crevasses up close was definitely a dream itinerary item for anyone visiting New Zealand!

It was canceled directly due to bad weather. I'm glad that at least safety was taken into account.
The listing stated 1-6 people per group, but when we arrived with only 2 people, they wouldn't let us fly. The shop said it required 4 people. 🙂 A waste of everyone's time.
