Visiting the Arc de Triomphe was an absolutely unforgettable experience! This iconic monument stands proudly at the end of the Champs-Élysées, offering breathtaking views of Paris from its top. The intricate carvings and historical significance make it a must-see for anyone exploring the city. You can zoom up to see the Eiffel Tower too.
note this that this is an.access via stairs,.winding stairs. around 350-380 steps. if you are not a fan of that, you may wanna avoid. I still enjoyed and loved this. Klook team was really helpful, mine was first scheduled for 14th September, but it got cancelled and they arranged entry for next day.
It was during the Olympics, so it wasn't very crowded. I didn't have a chance to go to the Eiffel Tower, which was the venue, so I enjoyed the view of the old and new Arc de Triomphe from the Arc de Triomphe. The stairs are narrow and quite hard, but it's one-way so there's no need to worry about passing others. However, there are people who stop to rest, and there are no windows, so it may be quite difficult for those who are worried about confined spaces. If you are worried, I think it's okay to use the elevator without forcing yourself. They let anyone ride the elevator without checking whether they had physical support. As you approach the rooftop, there are souvenir shops and toilets.
A must visit! Can get a nice 360° view of Paris. Wanted to see the sunset but the sun was setting quite late and it was still bright out. I was there around 8pm, hoping to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle but it didn't happen. Plan your time to go visit. Quite crowded, especially the Eiffel Tower direction. Everyone trying to grab the perfect shot.
Nice and informative monument. The climb up the terrace was worth it as we could have a beautiful view of Paris city inclusive of Effiel Tower from a distance. The experience could be better should it not be a rainy day during our visit. Highly recommended for history lovers.
A historical monument that stands tall in front of you and you could just spend 3 hours strolling around the ground floor and the top of the building. We went around 3.30pm and spend time to stroll around reading the stories and waited till 6pm to catch the Eiffel Tower sparkling. Overall good experience but note that there is no food being sold inside. You can also opt to come down to the ground floor to witness the commemorate ceremony at 6.30pm. Very touching with the band and marching of soldiers around the Arc.
Use the access tunnel underground to get to Arx de Triomphe. Very easy to use the ticket. You don't have to line up to buy on site although there's a line for security. Note the number of steps for the spiral staircase. There are also steps but fewer from the base to the rooftop. Memorabilia shop is at exit. Very nice view, at the center so you would be able to spot a lot of sites.
We booked the skip the line and we arrived at 5 PM then we waited for the sunset. The great view of the city was fantastic and when the sun down it so romantic. The nice view of the Eiffel Tower was so stunning after the sunset. Highly recommended.
