The Izu Peninsula is far from Tokyo, and it would be difficult to get there if you are not traveling by car, so it is best to join a one-day tour. The weather was great today, but it was too windy so we couldn't climb Mt. Omuro
Because I went there on a Saturday, the round-trip drive plus traffic jams took about 10 hours. If you want to go there, it would be better to avoid the weekend. Mount Omuro is beautiful and well worth a visit.
The tour guide, Ms. Li, was very kind, and the driver was very professional. The itinerary was sufficient and we also saw the beautiful scenery of Mount Omuro. It was a worthwhile trip.
The departure meeting point is difficult to find, it is recommended to change to a more convenient place. Maybe the driving time is too long, so the stay at each point is a bit too short, but Mount Omuro is really worth a trip.
