Yangon loop train tour is unconditional, please go individually. Guide MYO I was kind enough to explain and I was very pleased. It was more satisfying that the restaurant with lunch went to a famous gourmet new noodle. I think it will be helpful to prepare a wet wipe with the mascot during the tour. The guide tip was a lot of trouble, but if you're satisfied enough, it's okay if you have 10000 ky per team. Enjoy the tour with relaxed mind and open mind
Very interesting train, you will stop at the main street on the way, you can see the local customs of Yangon up close, eat local food and drink tea
It was an interesting trip to take as the train meanders through the outskirts of Yangon. Parts of the train tracks were under repair since last year and Thant, our guide, proposed to arrange for a taxi (he paid for it) to another train station that would allow us to continue our circular train journey. Really appreciated the suggestion as we got to see another side of Yangon on different parts of the route. He also gave us some suggestions on places to get mohinga and indian poori.
The guide MYO is very professional and carefully introduces the history of each attraction (including churches, trains, markets ...) to us! We also enjoyed a very authentic train trip :)
The experience was very authentic and the trip to the market was an eye opener. Guide was very clear in his explanation.
Our tour guide Peter is very professional. He explained the history in detail so that we can understand this country more than we expected. The train ride was a good experience. And the market walk round was so interesting and memorable cause Peter introduced us so many things patiently and throughly. I visited a market a few days before which by another agency, it was fun, but this tour holding by Peter was much much more memorable because he making us to communicate with the people there, so that you can get really close to them and to experience the actual story of their daily lives. Very appreciate to his kindness.
Myo is a good guide in English. Walking in the market in Myanmar, although the taste is a little uncomfortable, health is not good, but it is a rare local experience. And some other tourists in the same group can chat and share, very good. The experience of taking the train is very hot, but it is rare! ! The hawkers are all selling and the father can tell me how I feel when I was young.
On the same day, I only had a half-day trip with the tour guide. I took the train, went to the market, and had lunch. The tour guide was very caring and it was a very meaningful deep tour.
At first was disappointed because due to some renovations and repairing work happening in certain station , I’m unable to do the full circular train which is a bummer but I had a very good English speaking tour guide name Peter and he is good in telling me stories and brief history about the places we visited .We went to a local authentic market which is very different and we able to see how local people trade and sell here . Overall is a ok tour but too bad I can’t do the whole circulate train thing due to repair work ongoing .
The experience of having a local guide with you on the train was amazing! Our guide brought us to a local vegetable market, something which we would not have expeeienced ourselves. Portions of the circular train were closed too as they are replacing the tracks, and should we have gone by ouraelves, we would have been confused. Overall the experience and our guide were great!
