  • 【Important Notice】When boarding the Garinko-go III IMERU icebreaker, you are required to provide your passport number. Please be sure to bring your passport with you on the day or make a note of your passport number in advance. Staff will ask you for your passport number on the day. Please note that you will not be able to board the ship if you cannot provide your passport number.
  • As drift ice is a natural phenomenon, the viewing time is difficult to predict and cannot be guaranteed, but it is usually more common from late January to early March. Drift ice viewing may be affected by weather or shore conditions and may not be visible. Thank you for your understanding.
  • A gentle reminder that traffic jams are common on weekends and holidays, and Japanese law stipulates that bus drivers' working hours cannot be exceeded. Therefore, the amount of time spent at attractions may be adjusted appropriately depending on the road conditions on the day. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Please note that only Japanese service is provided. Translation services are available for languages other than Japanese. Bus tour guides will not accompany you, but Japanese-speaking staff will be on board.
  • Infants (0-2 years old) are required to pay a fee and will be provided with a seat. Participation on a companion's lap is not accepted. Please provide your own infant meals.
  • For packages that do not include lunch, please have lunch at your leisure inside the Marine Exchange Center at your own expense. The Marine Exchange Center, where the boarding point is located, has a food court, ramen shop, and convenience store where you can freely choose your meals.
  • Please be sure to arrive at the designated location 10 minutes in advance. To avoid delaying the rest of the itinerary, we will not wait for latecomers. We will not contact you in advance, so please be sure to arrive at the meeting point on time.
  • Bus arrival may be delayed due to road conditions. Please note that no guarantees are provided when transportation services are terminated. In this case, the cost of canceling the trip on the day will not be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Please understand that delays may occur due to uncontrollable factors such as traffic and weather, which may result in the cancellation of some itinerary attractions.
  • Some attractions may be adjusted or the itinerary may end early due to national holidays or temporary closures or restrictions on visiting hours due to special circumstances at the attractions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • In the event of bad weather such as typhoons or blizzards, a decision will be made by 18:00 (local time) one day before departure as to whether or not to cancel the tour, and you will be notified by email at any time thereafter.
  • If you are participating during your trip to Hokkaido/Sapporo, please avoid participating on the last day of your trip (bus delays will not be compensated).
  • If the drift icebreaker is canceled due to weather or other reasons, adults will be refunded 4,000 yen/children will be refunded 3,000 yen, and an alternative visit to the Okhotsk Drift Ice Science Center "Giza" will be arranged.
  • If it is not possible to go to Monbetsu due to road conditions: a) Itinerary does not include lunch: Adults will be refunded 4,000 yen / children will be refunded 3,000 yen, and an alternative visit to the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival will be arranged (including admission to the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival). b) Itinerary includes a deluxe drift ice bowl lunch: Adults will be refunded 6,000 yen / children will be refunded 5,000 yen, and an alternative visit to the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival will be arranged (including admission to the Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival). *Meals (lunch) will not be provided. The refunded amount includes the meal cost, so please arrange your own lunch.
  • You cannot get off at the hotel where you boarded the bus.
  • Please understand in advance that the buses and crew members going to and from may change due to bus operation adjustments.
