Nanning Daming Mountain

Spring blossoms, summer waterfalls, autumn clouds, winter snow.

Daming Mountain in Nanning is located in the northern part of Wuming District. With its high mountains and dense forests, it boasts a typical mountainous forest landscape and climate, making it suitable for visiting year-round. At Daming Mountain, you can see natural landscapes such as large grasslands, waterfalls, and canyons. In winter, it is one of the few places in the south where you have a good chance of seeing the beautiful rime ice. In spring, Daming Mountain is covered with mountain flowers, and there is a special viewing point for azaleas as soon as you enter the mountain. Summer is suitable for watching the sunrise (the sunrise viewing point is at Wangbing Mountain), and you can also enjoy the coolness of the waterfalls and mountain forests, making it an excellent summer retreat in central Guangxi. Autumn is the season to see the sea of clouds, and you can take pictures of the beautiful sea of clouds at Feiying Peak. In winter, there is a high probability of seeing rime ice.

Among the four seasons' landscapes, the "winter snow" in winter is a typical highlight and worth seeing. The viewing time is generally from December to March of the following year. At that time, the foot of the mountain is lush and green, but the mountain often has rime ice scenery, making it an ideal snow viewing destination in the southernmost part of China. The Olive Grand Canyon preserves dense primeval forests, and the bottom of the valley is densely packed with strange rocks and trees, with a wide variety of plants and animals.
