What to expect
- Departing from your accommodation at 9:00 AM, we'll first head to the Peking Man Site at Zhoukoudian. Located on Dragon Bone Hill in Zhoukoudian Town, Fangshan District, Beijing, this site is a significant Paleolithic site in China, renowned for the discovery of Peking Man fossils. Here, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the course of human evolution and experience the wisdom and life of ancient humans. After visiting the site, you can head to a nearby restaurant to enjoy lunch and sample authentic Beijing cuisine.
- After lunch, we'll drive to the Lugou Bridge (Marco Polo Bridge). Located on the Yongding River in Fengtai District, Beijing, the Lugou Bridge is not only the oldest existing stone arch bridge in Beijing, but also the starting point of the full-scale outbreak of the Second Sino-Japanese War. Strolling on the Lugou Bridge, you will admire the exquisite stone carving art and visit the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression to learn about this important history. After the tour, return to your accommodation or continue with other activities.
- The entire itinerary is compact and well-organized, taking you to appreciate the ancient charm of the Peking Man Site at Zhoukoudian and the historical significance of the Lugou Bridge, making your trip full of cultural and historical depth.

The Zhoukoudian Site, located in Fangshan District, Beijing, is one of the richest paleoanthropological sites in the world for excavated human fossils and Paleolithic cultural remains.
The Lugou Bridge is the oldest existing stone arch bridge in Beijing, built during the Jin Dynasty, and has a history of over 800 years.
