Windermere & the Lake District Tour from Manchester

I very enjoy this tour, The driver also is our tour guide introduced a lot of history and story about the place, which is very informative and interesting. The lake district is very pretty, worth to visit when you are there.

The itinerary for the day was perfect! The tour guide was also the driver. He admitted that he had only been employed for two months and this was his first time leading a tour alone. But he performed superbly, explained clearly and vividly, and explained the history of Manchester clearly during the itinerary. He drove steadily, ensuring our safety throughout the journey, and always took care of everyone, constantly sharing all kinds of knowledge. I really like this tour guide, I have to give him 100 points, perfect! The scenery along the way was also beautiful, and the whole itinerary was impeccable, it was amazing.

Totally worth it! The driver + guide is very experienced and friendly too! it was a perfect size for a day tour trip. Unfortunately the weather was not the best, still we managed to finish all spots and it worths still! Remember to drop by KITTchEN: P*ssy & Pints! Amazing bar!! Mind that the pick up point for the trip is a bit hard to find in Google Map though.

Extremely scenic and the cruise ride was very enjoyable. Driver was very engaging and knowledgeable about lake district!

Highly recommended!! Our guide, Steve, was very patient and explained everything in detail. He took us to several scenic viewpoints. Before going to each town, he also introduced the local restaurants and souvenir shops. The scenery in the Lake District is stunning, and driving can be difficult, so this day trip is perfect.

Enjoyable tour to the Lake district area. Itinerary was well paced and there was time to walk around and explore the village towns leisurely. Guide Steve shared interesting insights into the history of the places and people as well.

The driver arrived on time, the whole journey was very smooth, the itinerary was well arranged, the tour guide was humorous, and Lake Windermere is worth a visit!

Our tour was by Rabbie's. Our group loved the tour and guide/captain Darren. He is lovely, comical, clear and informative. in my opinion, by far best guide i've came across. Places visted was all beautiful and special. My personal favourite, ferry ride at Windemere.
