This套餐is really cost-effective! There were six of us, and we bought two套餐s for four people. We could only be seated at 6:00 PM, and by almost 7:00 PM, many tables were already occupied. Most people were ordering套餐s. The prices of the套餐s here are very reasonable, and they include tea, appetizers, and a service charge. It's worth a try. Price: $688 x 2 (includes service charge, tea, and appetizers) Service: There are enough service staff, and they always respond when you call them. Restaurant Environment: Located in Shun Tak Centre, it's spacious, and you won't feel cramped, considering it's Hong Kong. Food Taste: Normal, but the fish was a bit overcooked.
Great value Dim Sum in Hong Kong! The set was filling enough although you may be tempted by the passing carts. The only downside to the experience was the long wait we experienced (30 mins).
On Sunday, my husband and I purchased the $148 per person set meal at City Hall Maxim's Palace. We thought we would be able to be seated on time after booking the date and time. It turned out that we had to wait in line after arriving. I had known that I would not leave before I had to pick up the tickets online. Fortunately, at noon During the market, we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, but the two-person table assigned to the wall was a bit cramped, which was disappointing. The waiter quickly served the food. All kinds of dim sum, grilled rice, baby vegetables, shrimp balls, etc. were all delicious and the portions were sufficient. There was no bargaining. What can be improved is that desserts should be served later, so that guests do not have to eat lukewarm stewed milk. I will recommend this great value package to my friends and family.
The food is ok, but the portion is small. The price is reasonable. Many customers on Sunday night, seats are packed, very crowded. As payment was made through Klook, the restaurant did not give us the parking benefit, which we should entitle as we spent over HKD700, although paid beforehand. And the booking system through Klook has inconsistency, as Klook system allow booking beyond the expiration date of the voucher, which caused a lot of trouble. We have to deal with the customer support of Klook and the restaurant. And have waited for 6 days without any solution from Klook. In the end, we have to re-arrange another dining date to solve the problem.
The food and service were very good👍. The portions were also sufficient👍. The only drawback was that although we had selected the date and time when ordering the set meal, because there were many customers during lunch time, we still had to wait for a while before we could be seated after we arrived at the restaurant.
Maxim's in Central City Hall has a nice environment, and all the staff are very polite and enthusiastic; the food quality is great; this set meal includes tea and mustard and an extra 10 cents, and you only need to pay $1 and 10 cents for additional food. Highly recommended!
This套餐is a great value for the price, and the ambiance is elegant. We shared six dishes among four people, and they were all delicious. I especially enjoyed the dessert, it was very tasty.
The environment of Maxim's in the city hall is very good. It looks very open outside and you can see the Ferris wheel. The food styles are somewhat unique, generally delicious and the portions are sufficient. The service attitude of the staff is very good.
The overall quality of the food is good. The crab roe soup and fried rice are excellent, with plenty of ingredients and great flavor. The glutinous rice balls are not too sweet and have a strong ginger flavor, but the drunken pigeon is quite salty, and the pea shoots are a bit old.
Overall the food was good, except for the spring roll mochi. It would be better if there is a regular soup! The three of us discussed repurchasing it and hope to change the meal order every month.
