Reviews
Originally, I only planned to celebrate my cousin's birthday with a dinner party, and the children also wanted to go to the children's playground. As a result, I saw the guided tour of the Palace Museum on Klook and decided to change the way and have a birthday journey to meet ancient history. In this way, a group of people from four to fifty years old participated together. The tour guide was very attentive and professional. He took us to see important cultural relics for three hours without taking a break. During the process, he added a lot of wonderful historical backgrounds and designed small questions to interact with the children, so that everyone listened with relish. Although the children's physical strength was almost exhausted in the end, my father and I were still reluctant to leave. I sincerely thank this tour guide for giving us a wonderful experience as if we were walking into the ancient world, and leaving a special and unforgettable birthday memory. I really recommend this itinerary. The quality is great, the tour guide is responsible and serious, and it is worth a return visit!
**Awesome professional guided tour experience of Taipei National Palace Museum! ** Today I had the honor to participate in the interpretation service of Taipei National Palace Museum by Teacher Chen, and I must give it a full score! The teacher has a very rich knowledge reserve. From the historical background, the details of the cultural relics to the cultural allusions behind them, the explanations are vivid and thorough, and the whole process is fascinating, which completely breaks my stereotype of traditional museum tours. What moved me most was the teacher's professional attitude-the originally agreed guided tour time was already very long, but the teacher not only did not end it in a hurry, but took the initiative to extend it by 1.5 hours, just to let us understand the key cultural relics more comprehensively. This enthusiasm for culture and responsibility for tourists is admirable! In the process, he also patiently answered all our questions, and even adjusted the focus of the explanation according to our interests. Through this guided tour, the cultural relics of Taipei National Palace Museum are no longer exhibits in glass cabinets, but have become vivid historical stories. I strongly recommend everyone to choose this tour guide, which is definitely the key to improving the visiting experience!
We learned a lot from our dedicated guide 陳老師 (Mr Chen) who demonstrated deep knowledge and passion for the history and artefacts. The travel agency contacted us prior to the tour to find out more about us and our interests, so the tour could be curated to match our expectations. It was a huge museum and we couldn’t cover everything within 2.5 hours, but Mr Chen helped us navigate the main sections smoothly, drawing our attention to the highlights and the stories behind them. He also paced the tour really well, giving us short breaks in between the touring, where we would sit on a long bench and listen to his briefing before visiting a new section. All in all an insightful experience and as a first-time visitor, it would have been as enjoyable without the guided tour. Highly recommend!!
good to have a tour guide that bring you around, and explain the details about the museum, instead of running around by yourself
Thank you, Mr. Wu, for the detailed introduction. He's very nice and attentive. The teacher really wanted to introduce everything, but there was just too much! Looking at the artifacts and listening to the history, I think it was very worthwhile. Even though I'm Taiwanese, I think this is great. Of course, the audio guide is also an option, but having a teacher explain it is definitely different. Very punctual! The teacher's physical strength and endurance are also very strong, he didn't even drink water and kept walking and introducing things, amazing! 👍 I recommend Mr. Wu Zhongci.
The tour guide was amazing, allowing me to enjoy a palace feast that was more than worth the price. The originally scheduled 2.5-hour guided tour actually lasted for more than 4 hours as the guide introduced everything to us non-stop. In addition to the oral explanations, the guide also meticulously prepared a lot of supplementary knowledge on a tablet. At the end, he even gave us his self-made small cards of cultural relics. It was really so thoughtful.
Tour guide: I have to give Mr. Chen a thumbs up! He said it wasn't easy for us to come from afar, and he told us a lot more content. He also taught us a lot of basic knowledge about cultural relics. I hope to meet him again in the future! Group size: Only 6 people, so the overall experience was very comfortable. If you don't sign up for a guided tour, you'll really just be skimming the surface.
Thank you Eva, for taking us around the museum today, we had an efficient time looking at the most precious artifacts due to time constraint. You were v professional and patient with us. We enjoyed our tour tremendously!
Highly recommend it to anyone interested in history and art! We had a first-timer tour with a very knowledgeable laoshi (teacher in Chinese) who guided us and educated us across all the exhibition halls. Our tour guide was VERY passionate about his job so we enjoyed it when he explained the relics/ art piece to us. We went to the National Palace Museum before but without the help from a professional guide, the experience was not the same. I recommend it to anyone who wants to submerge themself into the history and culture.
Great tour experience, professional knowledge, and you can feel the guide's sufficient preparation and enthusiasm. Highly recommended ~ Zhengyi Travel Agency
