The redemption process with NBS was very smooth and efficient. My kids had Lindsey as their instructor and she was excellent according to them. She was patient and shared many tips with them. They loved skiing so much now! When skiing at Niseko, it's important to find a ski school with certified instructors. NBS is highly recommended and remember to look for Lindsey!

The ski lift that connects to the ski-in/ski-out access from our hotel wasn’t open yet, and we’re really grateful that NBS arranged for an instructor to pick us up and send us to Hanazono for our lesson. We were so lucky to have Bailey as our ski instructor. He’s super friendly, incredibly patient, and brings such positive energy that we immediately felt confident. His instructions were clear and delivered step-by-step, gradually building up skills and challenges in a way that felt natural and enjoyable. We had such a fun, relaxed time learning. What we appreciated most was how Bailey gave each of us individual, encouraging feedback on what to focus on and improve, which helped us progress a lot without any pressure. This experience will definitely be one of our best memories from our skiing holiday. Highly recommend!

NBS is legit! We had Bailey and he was very good and patient. Daughter was able to do the slope on her own, thanks to him!

They are irresponsible. We can't contact anyone for half a day so we missed the class we booked. This ruined our entire trip and it costed more than just this booked lessen because there were equipments we have to rent as well. We need at least any responses from anyone but the conversation with the staff got blocked now. We want a refund but no one can get us any feedbacks!

FAQs

Can beginners ski in Niseko?

Yes, beginners can ski in Niseko! Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu is famous for its great facilities for all skill levels. There are plenty of gentle slopes and magic carpets designed just for beginners. Plus, you can book private ski lessons with friendly ski instructors who will teach you the basics. The slopes and services make it a perfect place for beginners to build confidence in their riding skills.

What are the best months to ski in Niseko?

The ideal time to ski in Niseko is between mid-December and March. During these months, the area gets a lot of snow, sometimes up to 14 meters per season. This means you'll find perfect conditions for powder skiing, with new, fluffy snow almost every day.

Is 3 to 4 hours of ski lessons enough?

Three to four hours of ski lessons can be a great start, especially for beginners. You'll learn important skills and feel more confident on the slopes. Plus, your ski instructor will make sure you get the most out of your lesson time. But, you might need more lessons to master the basics and get better quickly. The best way to improve is to practice what you've learned and think about taking more classes.

Should I book a ski lesson in Niseko in advance?

Yes, it's a great idea to book your Niseko ski lessons ahead of time. During peak tourist season, the ski schools there can get crowded, and lesson spots fill up fast. By booking early, you make sure you get a spot with a skilled instructor at a time that works for you. This is even more important if you want private lessons or have a specific instructor you prefer.
