Royal Windsor Castle Afternoon Tour from London

I recently took the Windsor Castle afternoon tour and had an amazing experience! This tour is perfect for independent travellers. You’ll be guided to the entrance, and from there, you’re free to explore at your own pace. I was able to visit the State Apartments, Queen Mary’s Doll’s House, and St. George’s Chapel. The freedom to take in the castle’s history and beauty on my own truly enjoyable. Highly recommend if you prefer to DIY! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Windsor Castle is worth visiting. The tour guide was very responsible! He was explaining all the way from London. My family and I enjoyed a pleasant half-day tour!

Trip was kinda rush rush, especially afternoon trip where u got not enough time to walk through the castle in order to catch the chapel before it closes at 4.00pm..recommend to take morning tour if you want to visit Windsor castle at your own time. However the weather was perfect 😎

overall experience: very satisfied. good value for money, the bus is clean and the operator is accomodating. guide: you can easily inquire and provide key landmarks for ease of direction when hoing back to the bus

The tour guide Maria was super attentive in her explanations. She shared the stories and history of each building on the road from the moment she got on the bus. Unfortunately, there was a traffic jam on the return trip and the return to the meeting point was delayed by nearly an hour.

The pickup location is easy to find, but after the tour bus arrives in Windsor, it also stops near the train station, and then it's a short walk to the Windsor Castle entrance. The tour guide hands out the tickets and then disappears. Basically, you just pick up the audio guide and explore on your own. I recommend just buying the tickets and taking the train back and forth on your own, as this gives you more time. The interior of the castle is well worth spending time exploring!
