for people who thinks, nothing much to see in Manila, take time to know a little of Manila history. a very nice experience. thanks goes to my tour agent. as many others said before he is excellent. so knowledgeable, so fun. easy to use. Just him wearing a blue uniform with a lanyard. Just go to the entrance. your 3hrs will fly by very fast.
Our tour was an absolute delight. Our guide, Andrei, was an incredible source of fascinating historical insights, seamlessly funny with jokes that kept us entertained throughout the journey. We also had the privilege of exploring some historical house, where we gained valuable insights into the construction techniques of the ancient houses. The tour team was also incredibly accommodating, especially considering my 30 minute traffic delay. If you’re coming from the BGC area, I highly recommend leaving at least an hour in advance to ensure a smooth start. Once I arrived, they swiftly caught up with me and guided me back to the rest of the tour group. Tour guides even treated us to complimentary water bottles and ice cream. It was an enlightening experience that truly enriched our understanding of the region’s history.
our tour guide Ate Tessie is super kind and great! my group arrived 1hr late from road closures in manila due to a luneta event but Ate Tessie waited for us and made sure we complete the tour despite the time. the tour was so informative and Ate Tessie also assisted our senior citizen in the group, specially on stairs and in the dungeon. she also shared her lola's story in the manila war. we were given cold water and sorbetes as coolers. the choice of kuchero for the kalesa ride is amazing, Kuya Jun narrated about the roads and structures as we go. this private tour is surely one for the books! well recommended! maraming salamat po Ate Tessie and Kuya Jun!
I highly recommend the 3-hour walking tour in Manila. It covers the city's history, war heroes, and architectural highlights, including a fun kalesa ride. My favorite part was visiting Casa Manila. Our guide, Jose Andre, was professional, fun, and patient, explaining everything in an engaging way. Thank you, Andre!
A must have tour and tour guide exploring Fort Santiago and a bits of Manila. Very informative tour guide yet fun and memorable. It brought us back to our history. All those taught through study textbooks somehow came into reality by being in the same place. 10 star for the tour guide that narrate every important info we need to know.
Sir Andrie, our tour guide is very professional and informative. He arranged our tour very meticulously with time to explore on our own. He made arrangements for our kalesa ride around Intramuros (our son's favorite activity) and made arrangements with a local ice cream vendor for us to enjoy under the summer sun, and also provided bottled water. We were able to explore the dungeon, the lego room and learned some more about the evolution of the house structures inside intramuros to adopt to the topography, the scorching summers, and the Philippinrs being in the ring of fire: the risks of earthquakes. This is my 4th time to visit Intramuros, but there's still something to learn about the interesting history of the walled city
A must do activity in Manila. The tour guide is Andrea and he was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable to share the history of intramuros! Thank you!
I had so much fun celebrating my birthday by walking around Intramuros. Thank you, Don't Skip Manila! I also met wonderful people who happened to be joiners on the tour as well.
I learned a lot about the history of the Philippines. Some truths were a bit heavy but really open my mindset more. Our guide Mr Russels was so knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor. He made the tour fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour if you're a history lover.
I’m so glad I booked this tour. Anne was very informative and engaging. She managed to keep things interesting for the younger people in our group. We had sorbetes as snacks and bottled water was also provided.
