Oslob Whaleshark & Badian Canyoneering Water Adventure Tour in Cebu

it was breeze throughout this booking! highly recommended! my son and I had an awesome experience! our driver Kuya Daniel was prompt and knew his ways. our tour guides in Canyoneering Kuya Joren and Arnel were very experienced, friendly, polite. made our trekking extra special! our Oslob whale shark was sweat free- this package is what you need, they know what’s up. we were in the ocean with the sharks right away. overall, this experience with this booking is 101/100!

The driver was polite and was on time to pick us up. He was very patient with us. The swimming with the whale shark was a bit chaotic because we didn’t really know what was going on. But it was worth it when we saw the whale shark. we just wished it was longer than 30 minutes and less people in a group. I find that it was overcrowded (10 people per boat). I was expecting there will be just the 2 of us since we paid for group of 2 but we ended up sharing the boat with other tourists. As for the canyoneering, we had the best time. our tourist guides, Jimuel and Ay(not sure how to spell his name) were really funny and made sure we experienced a lot of things. they also took a lot of photos and videos. It was exhausting but was definitely one of the best tours I’ve had.

what an experience! saw a couple of whale sharks up close. Jobert & Ken were so helpful n entertaining, helping us every step of the way. Jobert was an expert in taking photos n videos of every moment. highly recommend!

This was my second time doing the Oslob & canyoneering tour, and my friend's first! We rented a GoPro for the Oslob tour and got some amazing photos. Canyoneering was SO much fun, and the guides were super friendly! Canyoneering today was the best, even better than when I came in 2023! Especially our guides, MAC & JAY, they spoke Korean well, were so funny, and led us safely and enjoyably! Thank you so much to our driver as well! We're leaving with unforgettable memories ❤️❤️❤️😍 See you again!!

An incredible action packed day! We booked the whale shark and canyoneering activity, both activities surpassing expectations. A well organised day tour, we were up around 2am and arrived back in Cebu city around 5;30-6pm. Our guides from Mcrich Tour company for the canyoneering tour were the best - Big shoutout to Brian and Romel for guiding us well, having a chat and taking some incredible photos for us. We felt safe yet they also pushed our boundaries jumping off heights up to 8m. The water is such a beautiful aqua blue both in the ocean for the whale sharks and also the canyoneering. Room for improvement would be for our driver to tell us what we need for each activity prior to arriving. When we arrived at activities, we felt rushed getting our belongings because there was no prior notice.

it was a wonderful experience to swim with whale sharks. You can see whale sharks very closely. Even snorkeling could interacted with whale sharks and took many pictures with them. By the way, GO PRO is needed to rent and pay by cash. Do not worry about pictures cuz your guider would be your photographer. In addition, canyoneering is great as well. Can not miss this adventure. The tour guider is pretty nice, and protected you away danger. The guider would take photos for you as your unforgettable souvenir.

The wake up at 2am was painful for the Oslob trip for the whale sharks, and there’s a lot of waiting around when you get there for your groups turn swimming with them. However it’s all worth it when you see them swimming beside you. Tip for capturing pictures and videos is to use actual GoPros or the more professional underwater phone cases, the little waterproof bags aren’t great underwater, everything goes blury. Solo travelled to the Philippines so I had my own personal guide for the Canyoneering. That was the highlight of the trip and had the most amazing time. Not a fan of heights at all but I still chose to do the zip line which had amazing views. The motorbike journey to the zip line itself was an experience. The guide was amazing and he loves his job so he kept it very entertaining. Going solo has its perks as we didn’t have to wait for every jump or slide etc. It was easier to just pass through and we finished it quicker than the rest of the group but it didn’t feel rushed. The guide was also very encouraging and pushed me a bit to do the higher jumps and made sure I didn’t back out from anything. I probably wouldn’t have done a few of the things if it wasn’t for him. If you’re afraid of heights I would highly recommend that you just go for it anyway, you will regret it if you don’t. He also carried my phone the whole way and took pictures and videos along the way without getting a single drop on the phone. He even hopped on the zip line to record the experience. The whole experience was just amazing and I would love to do it again.

The Oslob Whale Shark and Badian Canyoneering Tour was an absolutely incredible experience! Massive thanks to Kuya Jaron for being an exceptional guide—he made the 4-hour tour so enjoyable and ensured I was comfortable and safe throughout. From helping me avoid slips, carrying my belongings, capturing amazing photos and videos, to going above and beyond to make sure I had the best time, he really made the experience unforgettable. All the tour guides were super helpful and friendly, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cebu. A special shoutout to Kuya Elmer, my driver, as well as Kuya Berto, Kuya Jay R, and Kuya Raymon for making the whale shark watching an equally amazing part of the day. Such a wonderful team!
