[Japanese-Western Twin] Open-Air Indoor Bath + Western-Style Bed... 46 Square Meters · 2 Adults · 2 Nights

LOVED this hotel!!! They give you free kimonos to wear around the property and you can’t wear shoes inside! They give you slippers to wear. Free sale and snacks in the evening. Big downside is no shuttle to train station in Takayama and taxis don’t run early in the morning!! There is a close by bus station but getting to Takayama to train station takes about 50 minutes but we still loved the hotel and location. Bery peaceful and relaxing!!

Loved this hotel!!! we had a huge room with private onsen in our room! comfortable beds. Free sake and snacks in the evening. They have tattoo friendly private onsens and public onsen. Very relaxing place!! Main drawback is lack of transport into Takayama. They only have a shuttle to the bus station which is a 10 minute walk and you have to take a local bus into Takayama which is pretty easy but close to an hour drive. Really close to snow parks and the ropeway ( cable car) which was really cool! I also saw 3 monkeys in the area from the bus!!

I like the food and the private onsen, very enjoyable ,the view so amazing but when we left the hotel there is no shuttle car send us to the bus station, a little disappointed by that.
