I had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. The hotel is conveniently located near Sugamo Station, with many restaurants in the area. Having a convenience store right outside the hotel was extremely convenient. I also appreciated the laundry facility on the 8th floor. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Thank you!

front desk was very helpful! near sugamo district and walking distance to JR YAMANOTE line and another subway station

staff was very kind to let us borrow a universal socket for our charger and free necessities such as water coffee and skincare! it was near a supermarket and a family mart so it was very convenient

Had a great stay here! The room was cleaned everyday and the amenities are available all the time in the lobby. Location was convenient and is just a 3 minute walk to JR Sugamo Station.

Best place to stay, near the train station too!!

The hotel has a very convenient location, just few mins away from JY sugamo station. The room is a small but functional too.

This was my second time staying at Smile Hotel Sugamo, and I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I’m in Tokyo. I first stayed here last November–December and loved it so much that I booked it again for my recent 11-day trip. The location is honestly one of the best I’ve experienced in all 9 of my trips to Japan. It’s around 3 minutes from both the Yamanote Line and Mita Line, plus there’s also a bus stop nearby. There’s a FamilyMart right beside the hotel and a 24-hour supermarket behind it, which made everything super convenient. The room was perfect for me as a solo traveler and definitely bigger than the APA hotels I’ve stayed at before. I also appreciated the big TV and long desk since I had to work during part of my trip. The staff were very kind, there’s a 24/7 concierge, and they even gave me free mineral water and vending machine tokens. Overall, I had another great stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel. I’ll surely be back!

It's nice hotel. Very closed to station and supermarket

This hotel is very comfortable, close to the train station, close to the supermarket.
