Great
Nice modern hotel, including on-site garage parking and a spa with treatment rooms. Helpful, friendly staff. Room (junior suite) was spacious & comfortable. Late lunch (club sandwich + fries) in the bar was good. Rouen has a lot of interest, which reception we’re happy to explain / offer guidance for visits, but as we were only over-nightingale we didn’t need any advice.

Fantastic
We stayed in a premium room which has a fantastic view and is far bigger than the photos made it look.

Good
The hotel is in a great location and our room was large and pleasant albeit lacking in character. The hotel uses large bottles in the en-suite bathrooms for toiletries however in our room both the shower gel and hand lotion bottles were completely empty. I only discovered the issue mid shower which was annoying. We had to use our own products. This should be checked daily. The breakfast was very disappointing for the price as the variety was poor and there was also an issue with replenishment of hot items

It was hot, the aircon in our room was broken and they couldn't get a mechanic until after the weekend. They gave us a fan to use but their wiring system meant the only way to have the fan on was with all of the lights turned on - as soon as you turned the lights off, the fan went off. The breakfast was not good - it said it closed at 10:30am but when we arrived at 9:50am, there was nothing left in the hot section and they didn't replenish it. A guy next to us ordered food from an a la carte menu which was only placed on 2 tables - when we asked about it, we got a jumbled message about it only being for brunch (even though he ordered it during breakfast time). The staff were too busy messing around and joking about in the kitchen to put any food out, despite asking. The hotel deducted the breakfast from the bill but I wish we'd gone out. They removed the car parking costs as compensation for the aircon (note the car park is incredibly tight - we have a 4x4 RR and it was nearly impossible to get in). Honestly I wasn't after a reduction - I just wanted a room with aircon, given it was peak summer in July and boiling hot in the room. I just wanted to be able to sleep. Would not return.

Fantastic
Wonderfully located, comfortable and with very professional and helpful staff. I would recommend it for anyone who would like to be in the center of Rouen and enjoy a relaxed stay. The breakfast is also very good. The staff speaks both French and English and are very attentive. We used also their parking for our rental car— if you are used to drive and park in Europe no issue, if you are driving for the first time in Europe this will be a scary parking to try to park a rental car— is quite for most cars. I had no issue parking a Peugeot 308, it fits but is tight and the lower level parking has a sharp turn that can be unnerving if you are not experienced with narrow parking garages
