Staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The room however is really tiny. (which is expected for this price range in Tokyo) I can't imagine how anyone with bigger luggage would even start to unpack. The biggest advantage however is the proximity to Skytree and Senso-ji, with the amazing view from the rooftop. The Tokyo subway is also just nearby.

transport access: Very close to Asakusa exit station A2b and A2a (with elevator)
hotel location: I keep staying in Asakusa because of the environment. There's a family mart right across the street, Kaminarimaron is just a few walk away. There is a 24 hours laundromat nearby.
cleanliness: Hotel is very clean
Overall: I'd say 4/5, only downside is there is no area for your luggage in the small rooms. I know that Japan's hotel rooms are small but it's just difficult to move around the room when you're staying with 2 more people.

The location is the absolute highlight of this hotel.
Seconds from the Subway: It is located just a short walk (literally 1-2 minutes) from Asakusa Station (Toei Asakusa Line and Tokyo Metro Ginza Line). This makes getting to and from Haneda or Narita airports incredibly easy
Heart of Asakusa: You are within walking distance of the iconic Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Shopping Street, and the Sumida River.
Convenience at your doorstep: There are several convenience stores (7-Eleven, Lawson) and local eateries right around the corner.
English-Friendly: The front desk staff are helpful and can communicate well in English, making the check-in and check-out process seamless.
Attention to Detail: They are always ready to assist with luggage storage, directions, or local recommendations with a polite and helpful attitude.

we had a good time at the hotel and the location is very convenient. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean however just like the usual room set-up in Tokyo, it’s a bit too cramped to lay luggages on the floor if you want to orgnize your stuff. but overall, we had a good stay.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Amanek. The staff was very kind and helpful. Location was ideal as well, just steps away from the Asakusa line.
