Great, clean, and quiet hotel. Perfect location within walking distance of Grand Place and other local attractions. Easy to get to if travelling by train.

This hotel is a disaster. Our mattres had big blood stains! We had to be moved to 2 bedrooms at 11:00 pm. One of the 2 bedrooms had a drip from the air conditioner. We were then moved to another room for our family of 4. I was told the hotel was renovated 2 years ago, but I truly do not belive that. Shocked to see the terrible level of hotel NH has in this location. Staff was extremely understanding and were trying their best to accomodate us. Thanks to the staff that helped us. The hotel is very old, or looks very old They gave us 1 morning of complimentary breakfast and it was a nice breakfast.

The hotel is very outdated. The sink in the bathroom is broken. Everything is super old. The only good thing is the location of the hotel. The hotel needs major upgrades. The staff was nice. If coming back again to BRU, I will choose elsewhere.

Stayed with kids

No air conditioning the first 2 days, and when they 'fixed' it, it was cool at best. Spent 2 nights in 85-90 F temps. Location was excellent, close to the beautiful center of the city. One block from train station, so good for travel but the surrounding area is dirty and homeless people abound. Staff was nice and kind, and responded promptly to our concerns (even if it was not fixed immediately). Overall 3/5 stars. Probably would look elsewhere next time or just stay in Brugge/Gent and visit Brussels for a day trip.

Hotel is fairly modern and very clean. Rooms are a decent size, bathroom was very nice. The hotel is right beside a square with many restaurants and bars, so noise was an issue - the hotel realizes this and provide ear plugs. The AC unit in our room only operated at high speed and was very noisy, which helped to block the outside noise but did wake us up a couple of times. Great location, very close to the central train station and several attractions. Due to high demand staff were unable to provide us with the requested bed configuration in our room, but they did try.

Room and lobby were clean. Some staff were very helpful. Very noisy room with outside noise. AC didn’t work while we were there. When I called Saturday evening after we got back from sightseeing the receptionist said they had already called a repairman. After asking specifically the AC was not working in the entire hotel. So I took that wrongly as it was going to be repaired soon since I was offered no apologies or options. I called again in the middle of the night bc it was so uncomfortable and was informed that the repairs wouldn’t take place until the next day. We finally opened a window but it was so noisy outside. We were able to get maybe 3 hours of sleep when it was cool enough and quiet enough. Asked a receptionist about taking the train to the airport and she confirmed what I read which was that they are frequent and take about 30 minutes to get there. When I called again to ask about taking a taxi another receptionist said the trains only run once an hour (leaving on a Sunday) and often get cancelled for no reason. I never found anything to confirm this.

Location was wonderful. Room was large and perfect for my husband and I and our 17 year old boy. A/C worked great Only drawback is it took a very long time to get our room I understand we arrived in the morning but it would be nice if when you know a guest has arrived and asked for early check in to work on their room instead of saying “we start on floor 1 and make our way to the top. “ we left from Canada so we were absolutely exhausted and even ended up falling asleep in their lobby! Other than that it was great!
